Ra - Having such a short name comes with very few nicknames, but nevertheless, Ra takes pride in being named after the ancient Egyptian sun god

If there's one thing Ra never forgets to leave behind, it sure is his manners! At all costs, he does his best to stay calm, sophisticated, and patient. Truth be told, he's not always perfect at keeping his manners, should his patient wear thin, but by now, he's pretty good at holding it up!

Story-teller

It's safe to say that Ra is more of a story-teller than a listener. He loves to share his tales of his home country, Egypt, no matter who his audience is. The only problem about his strong story-telling trait is that it causes him to be less of a listener, wanting to be in the story-telling-spotlight. Still, this is something that needn't be worried about if you're looking for a good story or two.

Ra does indeed like to add drama to his stories. He can often be seen standing on a stool, adding exaggeration to his words. He claims that all good story-tellers do this to "make our stories come alive".

She is most definitely a female.
In ancient Egypt, women were said to be morally inferior to men. As children, they learned to be very dependent on their fathers and brothers. Once married, the new wife was under much pressure until she birthed a son, and if she only birthed females, she was called the 'mother of brides'. The woman's peak of power was when her sons were married, because she could then exercise influence over her sons' children and wives.
