Snow provokes responses that reach right back to childhood.
Andy Goldsworthy
The first fall of snow is not only an event, it is a magical event. You go to bed in one kind of a world and wake up in another quite different, and if this is not enchantment then where is it to be found?

Personality wrote:Despite his name, Lyric is in no way a musician. He is, however, an artist. He'll sit, focused, for hours upon hours on his drawings. His favorite media is paint; Tempera paint, to be exact. In his free time, he also loves to get bottles of kids' finger paints and coat his tail with it, using it as a brush, to make beautiful art. He'll take a giant canvas and go crazy, and it comes out as one of the most amazing things you've seen. He's a bit more antisocial than not, trying his best to blend into the ground. However, talk to him directly, and he won't be too happy with you. Being the curious Kia he is, he'll ask plenty of questions, some not as kind as others; but once he's warmed up to you, he'll be much more friendly, someone that you'll never forget.

What's the weather? wrote:"Leaves fall to the ground gently; reds and browns and golds everywhere, on the ground, on the trees, in the air. The leaves are soggy underneath my paws, and it's nice. No, it's amazing. The air has a sharp, brisk scent, and I love it. I regret never experiencing anything like this before. It is the most wonderful feeling, and I have not gotten to enjoy it until now. Maybe I should go outside more often? I wish I could feel like this forever, see like this forever, smell this forever- I wish everyone could. What is this feeling? It is the feeling of fall."
Lyric's favorite type of day is an autumn day, especially after rain. He loves the feel of the soggy leaves underneath his paws; he loves the scent of the air. He loves the gradients of the turning leaves, both gentle and striking at the same time. It's an artistic inspiration for him; he loves to paint fall trees because of this. It amazes him, the idea that only one tree could be so many different colors at the same time. He doesn't go outside often, but when he does, this is the weather he'd like to see.
“Fall has always been my favorite season.
The time when everything bursts with its last beauty,
as if nature had been saving up
all year for the grand finale.”
