▪ Name Meaning: Terraia means 'Earth'. Her color scheme just makes her look totally like a part of nature.

▪ Why you want this Whelkon?: It would be my very first Whelkon, and I am a huge fan of nature, and her colors just...they...squee! She just clicks with me, if that makes sense. I know she should be my very first Whelkon, which would be ah-mazing! cx But of course, it's up to you to decide who her owner will actually be. ;D

▪ Name Meaning: Abril is a name with two possible origins and meanings.
→ Abril of the Latin origin means "open." I think that this name fits very well to the design because I see her personality as being very open and talkative, but also very wistful and beautiful. I also think that the word 'open' signifies opening new doors and picking up where you left off, which is something that allows me to connect with Abril personally.
→ Abril of the Spanish origin means "April." Relatively sell-explanatory, but the beauty of the species reminds me of spring, and the main-most month of spring is certainly April.

▪ Why you want this Whelkon?: I've just become a member of the Whelkon staff family, and I've yet to own a Whelkon of my own. I find a lot of potential in this girl as a character. I love attempting to replicate complicated designs and would have a lot of fun trying to make some art of her with her many swirls and colors. She is absolutely the most gorgeous of her kind, and I'm very glad that she of all Whelkons is one of the stragglers so that I have a chance to apply for her. She represents the beauty of the species in a nutshell, and I really like her markings, especially those on her tail. *o* I would like to use her as a character, which would mean that she'd get a story, a personality, and lots of art and love. Not only are my characters my muse, but they are also my company.
