Her left front paw was injured by some metal and she had to have it sown up. Her right front paw was accedentally sown up when she tried to make herself a leather vest. Her stiches in her tail are actually holding in a magical fluid that cane out of her jewel on her tail after she chipped it. If the liquid leaked out it could cause turmoil making random things come to life in her work shop.

There is no one, and I mean no one, who can do more then Skye. And I mean no one. She is perfect for any job you could ever think of assigning her. Obviously, she's better at some then others, but in the long run Skye is the perfect person for whatever job it is you want her to do. It's not just jobs; she's really athletic and smart and just... able is a really good word to describe her because she's so varied in all the things she can do. Just about anything is something that she can do. She's able to do anything, to help anyone.

ᴀᴅᴠᴇɴᴛᴜʀᴏᴜs
Skyler is not the person that sits around doing nothing all day. She's not happy if she doesn't have something to do, mainly something that involves moving around. Skye isn't ever happy when she's in one place. She has to keep moving! For this reason she always jumps at the chance to do something different. Whether it's go to a new country or try a rare food, she's always ready to do something that differs from her normal scedule- not that she really has one, because of the variations everyday! Skye just can't be the same all the time.


ᴀʟᴇʀᴛ
Suprisingly enough, it's really hard to scare Skyler. This is probably because she's always alert and ready for danger. Maybe not danger exactly; it could be something that sounds silly to you but is so important to her, like her old watch breaking or the tea kettle boiling to high, but to her it's something that means a lot to her, somethingthat she can't replace. In this reason she's always ready, though you could argue with me that she might not always have her screwdriver. I mean that she's always awaiting an accident so she isn't taken by surprise.


ʙʀɪɢʜᴛ
Another thing about Skye- she isn't one of your stupid people that are a little self obsessed and always think about what they're doing. She might have some spunk but she's smart about what she does and where she does it. She isn't going to do something that might seem strange to you in front of you, but all the same shell do something that is a little more appropriate that still shows off her personality. It's hard for her to not be as smart as she can, because in reality, Skye is really smart and learns really quickly.


ʙʀᴀᴠᴇ
Skyler is no the one to back down. Or the one to use 'the middle way'. (Look it up!) She rushes into things bravely no matter what. Cowardly has never been a word used to describe Skye. She's just the kind of person that will always do what she thinks is best no matter what the consequencs may be to herself. This can be for silly things, like I forgot my homework, but she also won't hesitate to throw herself off a cliff for you. She is not very easily scared and really loves to take risks. She does it for fun, when others back away.


ʙᴏʟᴅ
She also isn't afraid to make her own statment. She'll do what she wants, and doesn't really care what others think of her. For an example, clothing. Skye usually goes out in just her work clothes, usually sweatpants and an old shirt. She's usually pretty dirty and most people can't help but glance at her as she walks past them. Some of their thoughts about her are not nice ones. The thing is, she doesn't care. Like I said, it doesn't matter to her what others think of her. She isn't afraid to show others her opionions.


ᴄʟᴇᴠᴇʀ
Thinking her way out of a situation is really easy for Skye. It's not that she's smart really, it's just that she is good at coming up with ideas that can help her in the current situation that she's in, whether it be awkward or silly or tense. She's usually the one that can come up ith the staments that make you want to say, 'ooh, hisssss'. She can find your weak spot, say like a homing pigeion going for your belly. Skylar is really good at driving people crazy, and making the jokes that work perfectly to get everyone laughing.


ᴅᴀʀɪɴɢ
Skye isn't afraid to take a dare. She'll astound you with her tricks, no matter is they be dangerous or just plain stupid. If you set her up for something and she walks into it (this rarely happens, by the way) then she'll do it. For instance, is she doesn't like pizza, and she hates you, you can ask her if you can have your pizza and just to spite youi she'll say no and start eating it, even when you all know how much she hates it. She usually accepts bets and dares without a second thought. This can leave her a little blind, though.


ᴅᴇᴛᴇʀᴍɪɴᴇᴅ
If Skye has her mind on it to do something, then she's going to. If it's you that she's got her eyes on, and you don't want those particular eyes on you, you'd better move out of the counrty. That's hor determined Skye is to get to her goals. She'll do just about anything if she can possibly be able to get what she wants. If there's say a new wrench that she really needs, she'll mow a hundred lawns just to get enough money to buy it, even if by the time she gets the money she doesn't want it anymore. She always carries through.


Eɴɢɪɴᴇᴇʀ
This is who she is. One of her main traits, Skye is an engineer at heart. She loves to fix things. Whether it be physical, like a new pot or pan that you just bought, or mental, like a problem that her friend is having with another friend, Skye makes it her job to patch the old wound, to fix the pot that's been leaking, or anything else that might not be right in the world. It's not as if she feels like sghe has to or is obliged to, it's just that she loves fixing things. Her job, obviously, is an engineer, what did you think?


ғɪᴇʀᴄᴇ
Fierce is another thing that might describe her. She protects what she wants with just a fierocity that almost makes her glow. This is one gal that does bite- and hard! You might not want to get too close, she's not that kind of closeness and lovey girl. Usually Skye will avoid anything like that as much as possible but sometimes it has to be done so she bites at you. Don't snap at Skylar, she'll snap back! The saying 'her bark is worse then her bit' isn't really true her Skye, as her bite is worse then her bark!


ʜᴏɴᴇsᴛ
One good thing about Skyler is that she almost always tellsthe truth. She won't lie just to get out of trouble, because she knows that lying will only get her into more trouble buoy can always depend on her to tell the truth. Another thing is that she always no matter what will never exaggerate. She tells things exactly how she saw them, exactly how they are. Some people question if she tells the truth, but the truth is, she always tells it! You can go by her opinion with no trouble, no matter what she says.


ɪɴᴅᴇᴘᴇɴᴅᴀɴᴛ
A word to describe Skyler could be 'cat-like', if you wanted. She not at all the person that needs a friend to lean on when times are tough. Neither is she the person being leaned on! Skye just tends to avoid peopl in general. Obviously she has friends that she'll do anything for, but that's pretty much it. She believes that she can do better if there don't someone sobbing at her feet, begging for help. She ignores the fact that this will probably never happen. But she's not mean. She just avoids most dragons.


ʟɪᴠᴇʟʏ
If you manage to make friends with Skye, then there's never a dull moment. Skye always has something to do and someone to see, even with a very small amount of people that she could actually call friends. She's always including everyone in everything that she does and most of the things that she does are fun! Every day is a fun day, that is if you like Skyler and she likes you. Be sure that your ready for action whenever Skyler is around you! And have fun! Nothing that Skye does is ever even semi-boring.


ᴍᴀᴛᴜʀᴇ
Skye is also really mature. She knows what she wants and when she wants it. If you're wishy-washy the you might not ever want to be with Skye. She knows how to take care of herself, what and when to eat, what's dangerous, everything that you might ever need to know. In fact, wishy-washy is an antonym to what Skyler is really like. She always knows what she wants and will never be caught being hung back by a ling decision, like what flavor ice-cream to get, or anything 'not worth it' like that.


ʀᴀᴛɪᴏɴᴀʟ
Skye likes knowing all thefactors that might at all influence her decision. She hates being caught or anything else an will consider all the factors, no matter how ridiculously small, to create a balanced and well thought out decision. However this doesn't apply to dates or anything like that. Those she rushes into. It's things that will influence yet over a long period of time. Like which collage to go to, or something very big and important like that. Those are the only things that shell think through rationally.


ʀᴏᴡᴅʏ
Obviously most people never really get praise from a teacher, but Skye hasn't Ben gotten one nice word. She hates being told what to do and is really rowdy and loud. If it was still the 19th century, Skyler would be that cowgirl, the rough ad rowdy one that is always found in tavern brawls. For this reason Skue usually hangs out with boys, which most peole disapprove of but she still does because that's just how she is. If you're with Skye, expect to be very tiers by the time you leave.

sᴘᴜɴᴋʏ
This so another very important trait to Skyler's being. She's herself, that's just how she is. She isrn afraid to talk back and has her own way of doing things. She hates being told what to do and is a rebel at heart. She's a gem inside, however. Most people don't like er spunk, or think she's too spunky for a jewel mane dragon her age, let alone a girl JMD. This makes her even more spunky, always doing things her own way and solving them although with her own funny little quirks.

ᴛᴀʟᴇɴᴛᴇᴅ
Almost anything that you want Skyler to do, she'll be able to. Honestly, she doesn't even try to be she's just naturally really really good at everything. Swimming, singing, from a to z any sort of funny talent or weird dance or song she'll be able to do. This doesn't mean that she's perfect and awesome at everything, in reality she has to work to get them. It's just she's gifted at doing most everything and when she works it, then she is able to get really good at it in a shorter time then most would take.

Tɪɴᴋᴇʀᴇʀ
Probably the oddest trait of Skye's is that she loves to tinker. You could say that she loved to mess stuff up! Already she knows exactly all the wires inside of a television because she destroyed and reassembled one so amny times. Whenever Skyler sees something that she hasn't ever seen before, she can't resist demolishing it, but then examining it and putting it back together. Rarely does she ever forget how to put it back, although it has happened one a long time ago. She learned her lesson and it hasn't happened again.

Fears

• Skye has always been petrified of anything that relates to gore or
violence. She absolutely hates the people that would commit any sort
or murder, scared that it will happen to her or someone she loves.

• Heights. Not that this has ever stopped her from doing anything she's
been dared to do, but she is really afraid of being too high up. Skyler is
petrified of airplanes, and will avoid that (if she can) like the plauge.

• Standing under Icicles. I know, the weirdest fear you've ever seen. It's
true. Skyler hates standing under icicles. She's read many horrific tales
about people dying from icicles. She admires their beauty at distance.

• Food made in China. Skye completely believes that all things should be
made where she lives, in England. Usually she buys all natural foods to
avoid things made in the dreadful China. It's impossible to avoid, though.

• Being embarassed. Skye fears that one day she'll make a fool of her
self in front of a large audience. And when she says fool, she means
fool. Like I'm-never-going-out-in-public-again kind of fool.

Flaws

• One of Skye's biggest flaws is how she doesn't listen, even
when it's important. She hates things getting in her way and
sometimes just ignores it. This can lead to bad things.

• Another thing that isn't so good about Skye is she keeps going,
no matter what. Even if something stupid what she's dared to
do, she'll usually do it because she doesn't want to be like a baby.

• Skye tends to boast or brag about how good or how good she is.
This can make her loose friends, when she keeps telling them
how she beat 'em and 'she's better'. She doesn't try to be mean.

• When Skyler gets frusterated, then she's angry. It's sort of
funny as long as your're not on the receiving side. She'll go
and get really angry, storming around and yelling at everyone.

• One more flaw is how she loves to tinker with things. They
just sort of accumulate and your house is filled with little things
that she's tinkered with or messed around with.

Dare

• One of the things that Skye loves but others are afraid of is thunder.
This might seem too typical, but most of Skyler's friends are afraid of
thunder, and she's almost the only one that isn't. She loves it!

• Another strange thing Skye loves is trying new things. This isn't
exactly what others are afraid of, really, just cautious. Skye isn't
at all and would for example try any new food anytime anywhere.

• One other thing she loves is collecting things. Most others clear
out what they don't need, but Skye keeps it all the time. She has
a whole hoard of stuff, but she keeps it clean. Skye is not a pig.

• Skye also loves listening to music most parents wouldn't approve
of. She likes the steampunk music, and others might be afraid to do
this or they'll get in trouble. Not Skye! She knows how to hide things.

• Another thing Skye isn't afriad to do is to make weird noises while
it's quiet, or something silly like that. She doesn't let silly teachers
make her feel embarassed- sometihing that's hard for most!

Quirks

• One of Skye's quirks is how she loves to go outside when it's
raining and watch the lightning and listen to the thunder. She says
it calms her down, which seems hard but she swears is utterly true.

• Another thing is how when she sleeps, she curls her tail up around
her feet. She also sucks on it sometimes. It's how she's slept ever
since she was little and has hno intention of quitting tht habit now.

• Skyler also sometimes (and I mean very very rarely) likes to dress
up. It's like she goes on a girl spree for a day, and will actually clean
up and get dressed reasonable and spend the day in the mall. Rarely.

• Another thing is how when she's angry, like really angry, her ears
and her tail twitch. It's almost as if she's a puppet and her tail is
jerking up and down. It's all subconciously, though.

• Another thing is how she really loves puppets. This is one of her
deepest darkest secrets. She has a collection and loves it. She's
even made some of her own 'steampunk' puppets that she uses!

A Story of Trees
You might be wondering how she got her lovely lace. It's not exactly a sad story, just a -slightly- icky one. It really happened...

"Come on!" The male JMD taunted. "You can do it. You're so babyish. I could do it with my hand tied behind my back." The babyish comment was getting irritating, thought Skye. It was obvious that she was going to do it- after all, it was just a measly tree. Or maybe not so measly. The particular JMD in question's name was Carter. He was really annoying, and loved seeing others falter. He bet her that she couldn't climb the tree- which of course, she could- and now she had to accept it. Only, the tree looked a whole lot shorter when she had accepted then when it did now.
But she wouldn't let just a stupid tree get in her way, would she? Gritting her teeth Skye dug in her claws and hauled herself up the first foot of the tree. The bark was rough, perfect for gripping. As she passed the second lowest branch, she relaxed a bit. It wasn't that hardest tree she'd climbed, just the tallest. Which was bad because she was afraid of heights, but it had never come at her before and she doubted it would now. And if it does, Skyler thought, I'll be ready.
"Wow, look! The stupid girl's only a quarter up the tree!" Hearing taunting from below, Skye decided to teach them a lesson. She reached up for a pine cone. They were all over the place, and with satisfaction she picked a prickly little bugger that was right above her. She stretched, reached, finally! The cone was in her paw. But the reaching up ha overbalanced her and she tipped dangerously. The branch she was on, she noticed, was very flimsy. She held the pine cone in her mouth and climbed up a little further, to where a sturdy branch was waiting, almost expectant.
She sat up on the branch and waving her tail underneath her, called "Hey Carter! Look!" He looked up, just as she knew he would. She leaned over precariously and carefully aimed. He was still staring intently at the branches, looking for any sign of failure. When he saw the pine cone, his eyes widened. Skye allowed herself a smirk of delight before she hurled the pinecone at him.
However, she had judged wrong. Skyler overbalanced and couldn't keep her weight on the branch. This almost never happened, as rational as she was, but somehow it did and she felt herself tipping. The branch underneath her apparently couldn't handle the strain and made a loud creaking noise that Skye interpreted as bad. With a crash, the branch broke and Skyw tumbled to the ground below.
So. That's how she got her lace. She needed stiches just about everywhere, but she wanted something pretty, so she picked the lace. The one thing that she is proud about this is that she fell on Carter- and he needed stitches also. Except he didn't get to pick any colors and got stuck with black.

This might be a bit obvious, but there's more to her then just a design. Skye has muscles, and is big. Not fat big, just muscled. She is usually carrying something in her messenger bag. The look on her face will depend on how she's feeling, but it will usually be tough-like, or acting like she doesn't care about anyone but herself. Skye liikes to blend in, and most won't even notice her at all. However if you do, at first glance she may look like a boy. And if you say so, she won't be angry. Her jewl always has a slight glow, but a very little one, and you can barely tell.

Hear
Skye's voice? It's a bit musty, but not too much. Sh has a slight Irish accent, not very noticable however. Skye's voice is a bit louder then mosts, but she never notices. The sound of her, when you listen, is a swishy noise but at he same time jangly, like lace sliding against more lace but at the same time, many charms on her charm bracelet (that she made herself) clashing together.

Smell
Skye's scent? Also a bit musty, with the smell of flames from working in the forge so much. She almost never wears purfume and when she does, it is a zesty lemon scent. It's hard to notice even when she does.

Touch
Skye's fur is quite soft, as much as she hates to admit it. It's usually matted down and wet, though, because she likes the rain. Her lace is soft, and you can only tell it from her skin because of the metal rings encompassing it.
