Username: AmberblazeName: Salidju- Which if you didn't know means Fruit Tree in Egyptian. Yes, my name's Salidju, quite lovely really, very surprised that is actually my name and I am interested in Egyptian history
NicknamesSaliI really don't enjoy nicknames, I will be known as Sali to only super close friends and people who cannot pronounce my name, like visitors.
Gender Female, she can come across as a male but can straighten that out pretty easily by a stare. With her, is a uncomfortable stare. Yes, when I was young I did something super embarrassing, I prefer not to speak of it, but all of the children said, "He did it, he did it, he did it." These days if anyone gets my gender wrong, I flash back to that moment, I will not be accepting if you call me a male several times.
Personality: Well she isn't the normal kind of super-happy or most-generous Jewel Mane Dragons but sort of a regular person. Of course she can be happy and generous but not like a care bear or anything like that.I suppose you can call me cold if you life but I'm really not, I am accepting in most cases but strict and a little quick to distrust. I get that about me, but when you're working with ancient artifacts, there is NO chances you can take. Outside of work I can be much happier. I do love my friends and family.
P R O F E S S E RI
t is true, she is a professor and acts like one too. She doesn't teach a class but is very well read and very, very smart. Her subject?; Egypt. She loves all about it, has gone on archeological digs and even discovered a tomb, of an ancient pharaoh. She can even write in Egyptian.Yes, Egypt is my life and I'm really quite happy to be working as a professor, I am extremely young, only 16 but I am smart in my field of study.
S N I P P YI
don't know how else to describe this part of her. Usually she pretty nice, but when somebody gets on her bad side, or just in general she doesn't like she can be a little rude. Salidju will feel bad later except there's one person, sort of her assistant that completely rubs her the wrong way. Or as she would say, "A slimy twit."He's the only one I just, ack, don't even want to talk about. He cusses all the time, is loud and towny and has almost broken some artifacts. He almost laid on the Rosetta Stone. I want to fire him but my boss says I cannot.
B R I T I S HYes, she is British, though she lives in California and works at the Rosicrucian Museum (Actually I've been there, it's so amazing!) She checks the information and things like that. But working as this she can be very precise, and with her accent people always bug her to say things. She usually does but sometimes gets really mad, hence a part of her personality.British, through and through! And excited about it too! I have an accent very much, many people tell me to say things but I really don't like it when that "smily twit" of a assistant asks me to say the stupidest words. I don't mind sometimes with visitors but him, bleh.
N I C E
Well, nice enough correct? She can be kind-hearted but it doesn't necessarily extend to everyone. Though there is a special someone, likes her even with all her sides. By nice, she will do simple things to picking up someone else's trash or maybe doing part of their job when they're sick. She likes to help but sometimes she only does what she can do.Well, I suppose, I am usually pretty nice and like to be friendly to people but I have been told I have the patience of a cheetah, always needing to go fast.
Yes, that's her, she may be snippy and a professor but, she is still a good friend to many and appealing to most!Quirk:Well, she does secretly (don't tell a single person, or err, dragon!) she loves pokemon. Crazy no? Well she keeps it well hidden but her favorite is Zorua.
Okay, fine, so I like pokemon' is that a problem Mam'!

Amazing art is by Tabby! <3 <3Story:
Also going to be finished soon. Okay it's gonna be kinda long so I'll also write a poem and stuff that is short!
Finally had time to put this on here!
I don’t remember being born at all, I mean who does really? The first four years of my life are now blurred into a jumble of gentle parenting and trying to understand the concept of a child. But the years when I was 11 and 12 changed my life from what I thought I really would be.
First I thought I would be a doctor. It had great pay, my father was a doctor and he had always been teaching me. On top of all that I did show a great interest in the body of JMD’s even if that does sound odd. It’s a giant beautiful machine that works in mysterious ways. I would’ve mostly worked with understanding the magic behind our jewels but there wasn’t much information on them really. I wanted to be the one making a breakthrough. But fate doesn’t always work as you think it will, I became so much more and much much better.
Now it started when I was in school, about 11 1/2 if you like to count years exactly. The day was October 21st 2004, the day that my brain changed it’s mind. So I was in the Jewel Mane Dragon Social Class, or better known as, History. We were learning about the ancient Egypt civilization of the Egyptians Jewels. At first I didn’t care at all because, it was class, I didn’t even have health, why would I care. I didn’t, simple as that. But the next day we went to class, 4th period and I sat next to the Jewel Mane Dragon, Ember. She was nice enough, a little excitable perhaps but still nice, I preferred to keep to myself a bit but it’s just my opinion, I still love Ember as my best friend to this day.
Culture. It interested me more than how a jewel’s magic worked or time travel or anything I might have previously cared for, even drawing. The way their dynasties worked, the way they farmed the idea of their afterlife. So fascinating. I got an A+ that semester and after that I did research on my own. I had read how to embalm bodies so many times I could have done it myself, and the way they irrigated I could have grown a crop field of my own. But I always wanted to go to Egypt after those few days. Sometimes I got quite angry and could have possibly thrown a fit but I never did too much. Then there was my birthday.
My parents were the best parents you could wish for. They were not really interested in Egyptian culture except my name. My mother thought it was beautiful and picked it for me and with my Egyptian fascination it was magnificent. “Fruit Tree,” very elegant I had always thought.
Now for my birthday, praise Re that is came. I was so happy I almost cried when my parents told me what they got me. A ticket to go to Egypt, one also for my mother because she wanted to go badly, not quite as much as me but still. This isn’t all she also got me to go on a dig. Want to know the biggest secret of all time ever for me? Well you’ll know soon enough.
So we fly to Egypt. Yes. We look at the pyramids, especially the Great Pyramid of Giza, Yes. We go home, No. No, we didn’t go home quite yet. We went on the dig and as we were walking to the dig I kinda fell down. I stumbled and fell into some bushes. I pushed the pushes aside and on of the biggest secrets and discoveries I found just by falling. The Valley of Kings.
Now I was confused at first. I called everyone down because I know one of those Egyptian tombs cut into the side of a cliff when I see one and this was one of them I believed. They were more excited than me. One of them, I believe was named Roger, took a rope and flung it down. After about three seconds, it was deep. He flew down there holding on to the rope still and took a giant lantern. When he went down there he screeched, in excitement if I remember correctly. “I found the tomb of Hapshetuncommon.” Quite a mouthful but very exciting. Before I was told I could go down, I bounded down, half-flying half sliding and hit something extremely cold.
You would probably not be surprised that I hit a pile of gold. Some objects slid down the small pile I was on and I looked around in fascination. Gold, furniture, and tombs. I saw one large box, it was complete gold with pictures carved into it’s sides of Re and Hapi, and all the other egyptian deities.
Everybody else now came down a little mad about how I slid down but still. Now I had discovered something magical I had proved my worth in science. So, that they gave me a chance at a special three year Egyptian Academy, which I did.
I passed the academy and was an A student, the best in the class. Right after I had finished the school I was offered a job at the museum where I work now. I could go into detail but this is a brief history.
QuestionsName and owner of the first JMD: Well there's lumpinbannas and Lotus but also Rose Petal and Mirinda so, both are technically the first so, yeah. The name of my first JMD is:For a minute I thought is was supposed to be my first! But yours is Crystal, the one with the rainbow jewel and dog tags. What's the limit of JMDs per user:7, 5 adults and 2 babies! So 7 cute fur balls. How much wood could a wood chuck-chuck if I wood chuck could chuck wood: Ugli Fruit, (Yes, it is a fruit for some reason.) I ran out of questions so give me an animal picture that reminds you of this JMD: http://www.oaklandzoo.org/images/birds/ ... Parrot.png A Red-Bellied parrot. Just so matching! History - Child - Short
I had a normal enough life, just growing up in england, going to school and what not my mother
was a great JMD. She was kind and gentle and sweet. She loved all people even daddy though he
was a drunk. I don't know if she pitied him or he was ever sober, I was too young to remember.
These days I don't like to talk about my father, he is dead to me now.
HIstory - Teen - Short
Well I still am a teen at 16 years of age. I'm pretty young. I went on a dig in Egypt and that's where
I stumbled upon the valley of kings. Rory the other JMD took credit but I don't mind, I'll find something
even better than that in the future. It's all ahead of me and I'm prepared to embrace it.
Digging Deeper
Love Interest? -
Umm, no, not now. I need to do my work and anyone that will put up with me will be hard to find, maybe some time.
Friends?-
Yes, two amazing friends actually! Me and Ember finally became good friends in 7th grade, took a while since she was jumpy and the girl who works at the museum with me, Smoky! They really are great friends! Oh yes, I met Smoky just a year ago, in Egyptian School.
Parents?-
Had a great parent, yes just one really. My papa was quite a drunk I don't think he was when Mom married him but she was really faithful. He has been imprisoned, he isn't much to me now at all. Nobody needs anyone like Dad when they're as great as my mother.
What makes you Really angry? -
That, jerk, known as Cory, ugg. Or shall I say, "slimy twit" for that's what he is.
Favorite Subject-
Egypt obviously, but in school before I started my Egypt rampage, I quite loved Language Arts, our teacher always made us laugh and we loved to write!
Do you like Traveling
Yes, yes I do. I quite enjoy it, it's nice to stay put but I love seeing new things and places, especially when they're Egypt.
Would you rather be Hated of Forgotten?-
Forgotten. I don't ever want to be known as a villain, sort of like the Hyksos were after they invaded Egypt. But I would most like to be remembered as the one who discovered a new tomb, the tomb of Hatshepuncommon.
In general, how do you feel about art?-
It's great. Especially the Egyptians, the inlay was beautiful the glass was stunning and their carving beautiful! Not to mention the painting! But also the art in the Europe, very nicely done as well!
IF you could go back in time who would you meet?-
Other than, like the Doctor, than Hatshepsut. She was one of the greatest female pharaohs, and one of the only ones. She focused on expanding trade and riches, though her nephew overthrew her after 21 years of reign.
What's the best prank you've ever pulled?-
I never do pranks except maybe, one, well fine, two I did on Cory. First was I hid a fake artifact and buttered it. He dropped it and I came in and steamed at him. Enjoyable day. The other was when he was saying how great he was, like usual and when he went to the bathroom I filled his oreos with toothpaste. 'Bout time he got his teeth cleaned!
