Gasker's, well... Some would say that he's a little cruel. He takes a little bit too much pleasure in seeing folks scared, and goes out of his way to get them into that very state. In reality, he's a harmless prankster. If he doesn't know you very well, he can be sarcastic, cold, or he could show you his odd side in hopes of causing confusion and maybe a little worry. To his friends however, he's a goofball and acts overall rather sweetly. He's got a grin described to "light up the room", and his mere presence can turn the room into a party. He also has a pretty hardcore sweet tooth.
Why you chose the name:
Gakser is Icelandic for "pumpkin." I don't know why I chose Icelandic for the translated name, but in my head, it just sort of fit. I've always liked the language, and a name having to do with pumpkins is sort of an obvious choice. I mean, look at the sweetie!

Short story:
Gasker crept up behind a pale-furred member of his species, breathing silently as to not blow his cover. Tail lashing back and forth in anticipation, he held his position on the ground for a moment longer before pouncing and bringing the other JMD to the ground. It uttered a sharp cry and writhed itsself free from his strong front legs and glared once it realized it had been startled by that joker.

"Gask! I told you a million times, don't scare me like that!" The red jewel on the dragon's forehead glowed a little more brightly, reflecting the anger welling in its voice.

Gasker shrank back. "Er, sorry Oak... I just wanted to invite you to a party I'm gonna have later! It'll be the event of the year, so how about it? There'll even be candy corn and stuff!" So far, everybody he had asked said yes; Gasker's parties were just too fun to pass up. He wasn't sure about Oak though... She was sort of a grump, especially when she was annoyed with somebody. As her expression softened and her eyes lit up instead of the bright red gem, he smiled a little. She loooked like she was coming around from being irritated to looking interested.

"I'll have to think about it, see if I don't have any plans," she purred with a sly smile that read, of course, stupid! She had a way of being even more sarcastic than he was, which alone deserved a medal. Unable to hold back excitement for any longer, the female JMD jumped up a little bit and exclaimed, "Okay, when is it?"
Why you want him:
Okay, so I was pretty much raised around Halloween. It's my absolute favourite holiday, and when I was seven years old, I learned how to sew, just to make little changes to my Halloween costume. Did I mention I was doing that in July? Yeah. In school, people have given me the nickname "Queen of Halloween", inspired by the parties I throw in honor of the event. A bunch of my friends have been losing interest in the holiday recently, and it sort of saddens me. I really want to keep in touch with my inner little kid and stay in love with Halloween! It would mean the world and a half to me if my first JMD was to be this charming little guy.
