If it won't leave me alone it's no surprise that I'm shrill
but to no avail, my shadow follows me still.
When sunlight reveals my frown, that only fills it with glee.
Yet on a moonlit night it never fails to locate me.

One, I live in a place where it snows fairly often during the winter -though not last year- two, it's such a beautiful name, French for ice, and it remindes me of the word Glacier, and one of those actually scooped out the lake system I live by, so it holds quite a bit of meaning for me.
