I jumped out of bed, and quickly slid on my jeans. I threw on an old tee, slid on my favorite boots, and was ready to go. I got my pack from the hook on my door and put it on. I grabbed four packs of strawberry pop-tarts, Rosa and I's favorite snack, and ran outside; today was going to be great. I ran out back and grabbed Rosa's saddle. "Rosa! Are you ready?" I looked around. Where was she? I felt a huge shudder behind me and I lost my balance. I felt a nose catch me in the small of my back and gently push me upright. I turned around and grinned. "At least I know you'll never sneak up on me." Rosa let out her cute little muffled giggle I always love to hear. I reached over her to put on her new saddle, and she stepped back and growled at me. "What? It's brand new. I just made it, it will fit you perfectly." I side-stepped, but she was too quick for me. She lowered her head and I quickly closed my eyes, knowing what was coming.
Zap! A beam of bright pink light shot from the jewel on Rosa's temple and hit the saddle with immense physical force, throwing me backwards against a tree. I moaned, and looked up. In my hands was the same, simple, dark brown saddle I had hand-made, but was now encrusted with pink jewels, and had acquired a beautiful shine. I smiled. "Haha, sorry, I didn't have any jewels to put on this, sorry I didn't put them on before." I smirked. Rosa wiggled her tail and ran up to me. She nosed me in the stomach until I stood up. She began to whimper, and I hugged her head reassuringly. "I'm fine, I know you didn't mean to knock me down." She understands english, she just can't speak, so she let out a small purr. I put the saddle on her back and strapped it on, handing her three out of four packs of pop-tarts, stripping them of their wrappers. She ate them all in one bite, like she usually does. "Let's go to the market today, we need to get more supplies in case we need to make you new gear anytime soon. I hopped onto Rosa's back after she nodded in agreement, and patted her shoulder. "Let's go." We shot into the sky, and I yelled in pleasure.

"There it is, the market. Land over there Rosa, it will be the easiest place for you." I wrapped my arms around her neck so I wouldn't slide off and looked up. Rosa glided gently down to the flat area I suggested, and spread her wings out to balence herself. We hit the ground with a large thump, sending up a large puff of dust. I hopped off Rosa's back, and took off her saddle and put it into my pack, carefully strapping it closed. We walked into the market and looked around. "Alright, we will need leather, strawberry pop-tarts, brass buckles, and yarn." Rosa gave me a weird look when I said the last part. "What, you don't know what yarn is?" I gave her a surprised look when she shook her head. "Follow me, I'll show you." I walked further into the market, looking around. I saw a stand full of the usual brown yarn and walked over. "See? I use it when I am making your saddle to hold everything together." I motioned my hand towards the shelves. She sniffed it, and I dove for cover. For the second time today, out came that bright pink light. It hit the stand, sending spools of yarn flying in all directions. I looked up, and tried hard not to giggle. The shop owner was stading there mouth agape, staring at his yarn stand. Yarn was strung everywhere, and it wasn't brown, but rainbow. It was on everything and everyone. I stood up, and walked over to the shop owner. "I am so sorry! I will buy all of this yarn." His eyes got wide, and he looked me over, seeing that I obviously didn't have much more than a couple of dollars. "It's fine, just clean all of this yarn up and get it out of my sight." I gave him an apologetic look and started grabbing yarn off of everything. I looked over, and Rosa was laying on her back, covered in yarn. I giggled, and kept cleaning. After I had gotten all of he yarn off everything, including the yarn all over Rosa, and walked over to the man who owned the stand. Rosa followed me, nipping playfully at the yarn all balled up in my hands. "I really am sorry, I'm sure Rosa didn't mean to do that." I held out a hand. He put out his hand to shake mine, and Rosa suddenly stepped between us and lowered her head. Before the shop owner could react, Rosa shot a beam of light into his hand. He fell backwards, and I ran up and grabbed his hand to help him up. He stood, and slowly opened up his other hand, anxious of what he would find. "I'm so sorr-" I stopped. His mouth gaped open, and his eyes were as wide as they could be. In his hand, was a diamond the size of a quarter. He sat it on his counter and grabbed my right hand with both of his. "Thank you so much, this will help my family so much, especially my son, whom is very sick." I smiled. "You're very welcome, I am again very sorry she destroyed your yarn display, I will fix every-" He stopped me mid sentence. "No, you don't have to do anything. You have helped me more than I could ever imagine anyone would." He smiled. "Thank you, you may keep the yarn, and please take this," He handed me a small flower pin, made completely of jewels. "I couldn't." I handed back, but he pushed back my hand. "Keep it." He smiled, and I smiled back. "Thank you so much." I walked over to Rosa and put my hand on her nose. "Thank you Rosa, that was very sweet of you." She bowed her head and giggled. "Do you want this?" I asked, holding up the pile of yarn. Her whole body wiggled and she snatched it out of my hand. I laughed and threw on her saddle. I hopped on her back and patted her shoulder. "Let's go." We launched into the air, both of us making our own sounds of shared delight.
