Honestly, I'm having trouble naming this fellow. I'll need to sleep on it, but I'll have a name up here soon. ^^ I just need to find the perfect name.

▪Why you want this Whelkon▪

I live in Colorado, so I've grown up around the Rocky Mountains. We go up to this small town in the mountains every winter to ski, and last year our class took a week long trip to this 'outdoor lab' thing where we learned about the forest and other subjects. The pine forests and the snow covered mountains are truly beautiful.
This Whelkon really reminds me of those days when I get to ride up those curvy mountain roads and see that amazing, snowy scenery. Winter is my favorite season, and I truly love this Welkon.

I saw this guy and knew that I loved him. The colors reminded me of the winter landscapes that I've always dreamed of seeing for real instead of just on TV or in photographs. I can almost see him trotting through the snow covered forest greeting the dawn and the dusk with grace and power. A whelkon in a land untouched by human things would look so beautiful. I could see him being the guardian of his forest warding off those who would do it harm
