Name's Tatumn, which you pronounce Tay-Tum. Yours?
Nickname:
Friends often call me Tate.
Gender:
Female and I know it!
Age:
I'm a young adult, about 19 or 20
Size-
Well, I don't see how this is relevant, but I'm between the size of a German Sheperd and a Great Dane.
History:
I was born in a city apartment. It was nice and all, but I had to get out more. So as soon as I turned 12, I went on my own out onto the streets with nothing but the hat my mother had given me. "It's your grandmother's." She would often tell me. "As long as you keep it, you will be safe."
Soon enough, I had met a group of JBDs, and joined them.We had a good life, as we could buy or beg for anything we needed. Our leader was a large, fearless Dragon by the name of Jake. All of us stood out in one way or another, whether it be fur designs, piercings, or clothing. But Jake, he was one of the smartest dragons I have ever met. He was the brains of our operations, and could still joke around, relate with some of the newer recruits.
One day, that all changed when the city decided to start curbing the local Jellybean population. Trucks with cages on the back patrolled the streets, grabbing whoever they saw. In the first night they came, our little gang went from 23 to 8. Me, Jake, and a couple others had slept in a hole we had excavated from beneath a dumpster, and had been passed over in the search. When we woke up to footsteps, some of the youngest with us perked up his ears.
"Don't come out." He hissed. "They look like they're hunting for something." So we huddled in our hole.
The next few days were torture as we tried to escape the city. I was walking without thinking, and didn't hear the truck pull up silently behind us. The next thing I knew, a noose was around my neck and metal surrounded me, until finally I found myself in a concrete cell.

I look with disinterest at the family who have just come in. They look the same and will probably act the same as all the other families. All the same with a single child, and two parents. The child getting excited over the cute babies, the parents explaining the responsibilities. But... wait. The little girl that has come is calm, and looks at all the dragons, not just the babies. I stand up straighter. Maybe this will be the one. She gets to my kennel, and I look at her. I smile, and greet her. "Hi." She says back shakily. Turning to her parents, she tells them decisively, "She's the one." They open the cage, and take me to the front, where her father pays and signs for me. I look up at her, and know that she loves me.

Story-
((This is the story of where she gets her hat.))
It was a hot afternoon in the cith when my first owner was out, and I was napping like the baby I was.
A dull thud jerked me out of sleep as I laid on the floor of my apartment home. I looked around to see my mother dragging a box out kf the closet. Looking at the box, I could just make out the words, "Family Heirlooms" handwritten on the side with a permanent marker.
"What are you doing?" I asked curiously. She finished pulling tge cardboard box out of all the clutter, and turned to face me.
"I'm just pulling out some things your grandmother left to us."she told me. Peeking into the box, all I saw were lots of old photos. BOR-ING! Looking futher, I pawed throught the pile, and wondered why Grandma had so much junk. It was mostly archaic photographs, so when my paw touched something soft and squishy, I panicked.
Squeaking fearfully, I backed away fast. Noticing my fear, Mom laughed.
"Tate, it's just a hat!" Grinning, she fished out a blue plaid hat with pompoms on it. My eyes lit up. The bat was so awesome! Maybe my grandmother's belongs weren't all old pictures. Plunking it onto my head, she laughed as it slid down over my eyes. I pushed it up and grinned as Mom said, "I've been waiting to give you this." She readjusted the pompoms, and continued. "As long as you keep the hat, you will be safe."
I looked up at the hat. It was so soft, and my favorite color, blue! Hugging my mother, I thanked her as the door opened. My owner stood in the doorway, smiling.
"Aaw, Tatumn, you're so cute!" She laughed, then picked me up. "And heavy!"
Personality:
:Flirty:
Tatumn is not afraid to show she likes someone. She knows she can get the guy she likes, and won't give up until they're dating. She loves to snuggle with people, and isn't afraid to go up to someone she likes and tell them how she feels. She is a bit of a romantic, though, and likes to cuddle in front of cozy fires in the winter.
She hangs around with lots of boys, bit she feels like she hasn't found the perfect one yet.
:Compassionate:
Tatumn is the kind of dragon who you'd hate to go against, and love to have as an ally. She cares very much about other dragons, and often spends her mornings helping them out.
WIP
:Stubborn:
Once Tate has her mind set, it's either help.or get out of the way.My way or the highway.Maybe if you promised her a flying pig and delivered it she would follow you... Since she makes lots of friends, she often calls in favors when she needs something big done. She will almost never stop, except to eat and rest, to get what she wanrs done done.
:Tomboy:
Tate has never been much of a girly-girl, and was never interested in froufrou things. Mayne it was growing up on city streets, but she could do anything, if not more, than a boy could do. She isn't afraid to get down and dirty and fight.

Why I Want Her and What I Would Do With Her-
Well, when I first spotted her, I simply loved her design! Along with her hat, she seemee like a dragon you would see once in a lifetime. Then I started drawing her. That added another thing I loved about her. Her design is simple, yet easy to draw.
My mind started whirring with ideas, possibilities, and stories as soon as I started my form. You ask what I would do with her? I will make even moar art (mostly because she's so fun to draw X3) I would also socialize her with lots of other dragons, and snuggle her everyday!
(I will probably work on the form until we can't anymore. >:D so back off peoples, Imma win this if I die trying!)
