❀ A Whisper from the clouds...waiting for the magic... ❀

▪ Whelkon Name:

His full name is Whisper, but it gets shortened to Whisp. A whisp of his caramel hair, a whisp of his sweet coloring lost on a spring breeze...a whispered secret.

▪ History (About 200 words):

Whisp was born and raised with a gentle hand, and so he grew to be a gentle Whelkon. His words were always soft, his manner always quiet, and in his sheltered life there was never any "noise" or "roughness" or "disappointment". He is yet young, and yet as innocent as when he was born. Whisp spends his summers playing hide-and-seek in the moss-covered trees and his winters curled up by his mother's side. There is only one dent in Whisp's perfect naivety: December.

If Whisp is a dove, then December is a raven. Her dark fur and dashing ways stun him every time he meets her--and he likes it. Whisp's parents have never allowed him to meet people like December before. He's never experienced anything like the fullness of her...is this what they call love? Whisp is lost and confused. His ears are being opened and his eyes are being shut, and his upbringing means he can't help but fight it. But he knows, just by knowing, that the REAL part of his life is just beginning. Whisp has a lot to learn about the real world. And funnily enough, he can't wait.

▪ Personality (About 200 words):

Whisp is quiet and gentle and sweet, and he values beauty and history more than your average Whelkon might. He is one to sit and think as much as run and jump, and this can isolate him from those who don't understand his ways. Whisp being Whisp, however, he simply doesn't care. Insults and compliments roll right off his always immaculately groomed back.
Whisper is honest and loyal to those who do get close to him, and no friend of his is going to be hurt without a fight. The fight would have to be verbal, though--Whisp would never sink so low as to be violent towards another Whelkon. He's not aloof, just naive and not understanding as to why someone would want to hurt another creature. It's against the behavior of his species to be violent, but really, REALLY against the nature of Whisp. He's a bit of a romantic, the one that always means well even if the ends don't quite equal the means. Sweetheart--it's impossible to hold a grudge against Whisp because he will never hold one against you. He's rarely even angered in the first place, although he can be quite stubborn!
A word on his relationship with December: he's awestruck that such beauty could ever like him! He adores her with a kind of puppy-love, and he's determined not to ever leave her side.


▪ Why you want this Whelkon (Few sentences):

He's just simply too gorgeous, Wind! Whisp immediately struck me as having an unusually subtle and elegant coat, and he's truly beautifully designed. It was never really an option to NOT try out! Whisper, with me, would be used every day...he strikes me as one of those characters I'd just love to draw. His personality and design are both immaculate, and just looking at him makes me feel like I'm drinking hot cocoa on a cold afternoon. I would be honored to call Whisp my own. <3
