Name. Funasu
Personality Fun, friendly, and humorous. She Loves to hang out with her friends. She dreams of being a sailor, free on the open seas.
Story

What would you have done if you found yourself stuck on a boat with pirates? My name is Funasu, I used to live on a coastal city where the Marine 2nd Headquarters are located. I've always wanted to become a sailor, free to sail the open seas. But the city of Heathrow only had marines sailing her waters. Being a private in the marines wouldnt do it for me. I wanted to be free, not controlled by a superior! That's when it happened.
30 years ago, notorious pirates Kestral L. Hawke and Merlin L. Hawke, disapeared in a battle with Vice Admiral Reage Fostiff and the Captain of unit 3. The Black Hawk pirates were the strongest pirates out there. They had the highest bounty in the world. When the news of their disapearence was heard, it hit every newspaper business around. No one had not heard it. But now, a rumor was running around, it was that they had returned. But how could that be possible? Yet everyone was on their toes. The town of Heathrow was close to the town where they grew up. The marines had a coastal boarder patrol up. Our world was turned upside down in chaos.
So it was like any other day, I was walking home from school down my usual route ( a shortcut through the alley ways), reading a newspaper I had picked up. Then, I stepped on something soft and squishy, I lifted my foot and looked down. It was a person! "Calm down" I thought to myself. I looked around and found a stick, and proceeded to crouch down and poke the body. The figure rolled over and looked at me with icy blue eyes full of pain and hatred. My legs felt like jelly and collapsed underneath me as I stared into her unwavering eyes. This was fear, and it was because of her, Kestral L. Hawke. Suddenly her eyes softened and she chuckled lightly.
" Don't worry I'm not going to hurt you" she said in a kind voice " I just thought you were someone else."
"You're Kestral L. Hawke arn't you." I asked, my voice wavering.
"Why yes, I do believe I am" she replied casualy "Oi! Are you okay?" My world had faded to black, the shock of who had stood before me had been to great, my mind receded into the cover or darkness to recover itself. The next I knew, I was on something so, soft that it felt like a cloud. That cloud like thing was rocking gently from side to side, but sometimes shook violently. I looked up and saw that I was on one of those four poster beds, with the silk covering. There was on ornate rug of blue, black, and gold, on top of which was a little coffee table, a couch, and two chairs. I walked over to huge desk that had an equally large map on it. I looked and saw that it had our location on it, and some marine ships. It was magical! I then noticed the area in which we were sailing, I ran out of the room and flew down the hall lined with lanterns, climbing up the latter at the end. I poked my head outside and was barraged with a bedlam of yelling and movement. I looked around and found Captian Hawke at the wheel, I scurried through the mess until I reached her.
"Ah, you're awake" she noted " although, right now might not be a good time..."
" You need to change course, we're heading straight for the waterfall of Adreil, turn to starboard!
"Do you know how to steer a boat?"
"Yes, why...."
" Take the wheel, I'll grab the map for you, try to get the marines off our tail without destroying us." With that, she left. I stood a bit dazed until a cannon crashed through the water in front of us. I looked behind me and saw three marine warships close behind. Before I could do anything, Kestral had com back, the map folded into a hat.
" Since this hat/map has magical properties, it will stay on your head, and you won't have to look at it to read it." She was right, somehow I could tell exactly where we were going, where the marines were, everything! "We needed a new navigator, you think that you could do it?"
"Gladly!" Not really sure if anyone else would do this, but, well, it was my dream. And I was happy, that little adventure was the start of a huge adventure, and the biggest change of my life.

I'm gonna make her a Charrie for the book I'm writing if I win!
She is beautiful, great job!

Alicia <3

Postby winter. » Wed May 30, 2012 2:28 am

"IT'S SO FLUFFY!"

Image

Name:
Alicia

Nickname(s):
Everyone calls her Alice, except when they're mad at her, which is often.

Size:
She's quite small for her age, about the size of a Shiba Inu, standing at 2' 6".

Personality:
Adventurous: Alice is an explorer extraordinaire, well, that's what she thinks anyway.
She is daring and courageous and loves to explore whenever she can . . .even if it means breaking some rules.

Imaginative: She has an extremely vivid imagination, and comes up with all her fantastic adventures on her own.
One day, she'll be sword-fighting pirates on an exotic island, and the next, she'll be sailing to Timbuktu!

Troublesome: As I'm sure you're aware, Alice's expedites get her in trouble quite often, with her sneaking off constantly.
All the adult Jellybean Dragons have her on constant watch, but she simply can't stay away from a good adventure!

Innocent: Even though Alice can be troublesome and sneaky, she doesn't mean to harm anyone.
She's just a fun-loving little girl who happens to have a bright imagination; she can't be in the same boring place all the time.

Loving: At heart, Alicia is an absolute sweetie who loves her family and friends dearly.
She may act tough, but on the inside she is just like any other child, full of love and compassion.

Stubborn: As I've said numerous times before, she doesn't like to obey instructions, especially if they interfere with her travels. In fact, what annoys her most of all is adults telling her that she's "too young" to go exploring. Can you believe that?!

Shy: Alice is truly not as out-going as people envision her to be; that is why she adventures so much:
she has a hard time making friends with those her age. On the other hand, adults are no problem.
They absolutely adore her stubborn maturity and all the marvelous tales she shares with them.

Story:
Not too long ago, Alice was out in the meadow, where she was supposed to be playing with all of the other teens. However, she was rather bored, as all of them were playing childish games, such as hide-and-seek and tag. She longed for adventure, so she snuck off into the woods and ran as fast as she could, hoping not to get caught. Her paper hat bounced on the top of her head - up and down and up and down - as she scurried along. Finally, she had reached her destination: the river bank. This river was wide, yet calm, and the water was always clear and delicious. After all that running she was quite thirsty. So, she dunked her trusty paper hat down into the river, filled it with water, and used it to pour the liquid into her mouth.

Feeling rejuvenated, Alice sat down and thought of ideas to get past this obstacle. As she sat staring at the paper hat in her hands, it came to her. "I know! A paper boat!" However, there was no newspaper to be found. She looked around, and interestingly enough, she saw a paper boat tethered to the shore not too far away. Alicia ran excitedly down to the boat and hopped in. The boat began traveling down the river, but wait - it was going in the wrong direction! Instead of going straight across to the other side, she was being carried downriver towards the ocean! She tried desperately to paddle back, but it was no use; the current was too strong. Helplessly, she drifted to sea, and let the waves carry her on her way. She was lost.

In the morning, she awoke to find herself not in the water, but on land! While she slept, the boat must have washed up on the beach of - well, wherever she was. She stood up and looked around: it was a small island. Most of the island, except for the little strip of beach, was jungle. Her boat made out of newspaper was pretty soggy at this point, and she didn't think it would withstand the journey home. Alice was going to have to build a raft. However, the pieces of driftwood on the beach weren't nearly large enough to fashion into a raft. She'd have to venture deep into the jungle if she had any chance of getting home.

Alicia charged through the forest for quite some time before she came to a clearing. There was all sorts of wood among the dirt and debris, as well as a large amount of banana peels. "That's strange," she thought. *plop* At that moment, a peel fell from the sky, replacing the paper hat on her head. Laughter erupted from the canopy above. "What the-?" At least a dozen monkeys were swinging from the trees, chuckling in amusement. "What's so funny?" Alice was fuming; nothing about the situation was funny in the slightest: she was stranded, alone, and worst of all, she was hungry. The monkeys were laughing even louder now. That sent her over the edge.

Plucking the banana peel from her head, she hurled it at the largest male . . . and hit him square in the face. A horrible, angry shrieking came from all members of the group. "Uh-Oh." Alice ran for her life, dodging roots and rocks at every turn, which is quite difficult when you're being chased by an angry horde of monkeys! Eventually, she reached a river. However, unlike the one before, its water was brown and murky. Having no choice, she plunged into the warm water and fought against the current. Soon, Alicia had reached the other side. She looked to see if she was still being pursued, but she was not.

Across the river, the monkeys were yelling in frustration. Apparently, they didn't take kindly to swimming. They left, leaving Alice alone. She headed back to the beach and sat down on the white sand. Before she knew it, tears were streaming down her face. "I'll never get back! I-I should have stayed at home!" After she had stopped crying, she lifted her head up out of her hands . . . and was face to face with the strangest creature she had ever seen.

Poking up out of the waves was the head of what appeared to be a sea creature! Alicia's first instinct was to run and scream, but the creature looked like it was wanting to help her. "Are you here to h-help me get home?" It nodded and smiled, like it was glad someone finally understood it. Alice smiled back and petted it on the head. As she did so, it made a cooing sound. After a bit of thinking, she had come up with the perfect name for the sea creature. "I'll name you . . . Winston!" Winston made a satisfied noise and then gestured for Alice to get on his back. She got a running start and leaped onto him, careful not to lose her paper hat. She almost slid off, but Winston's tail nudged her in between two of the ridges on his back. She wasn't going anywhere! Alicia held on tight and they were on their way back home.

When they had reached the shore of the mainland, Alice got off and said her goodbyes. Tears began to well up in both their eyes. You'll come and visit me, right? Winston cooed in agreement, and began to swim away. She waved and waved, until he was just a dot on the horizon. She was sad, of course, but she knew he couldn't stay here forever. Besides, it was time for her to return home.

THE END

Why do I want her?:
Alicia is everything I could ever want in my first Jellybean Dragon, and she is the prettiest I have ever seen.
I can't express in words how much I adore her, but I guess I'll have to try.
There's just so much to love about her: the exotic markings, her color scheme, and that adorable paper hat! XD
Most of all though, I love those eyes. Anyways, when I looked at her, I knew exactly what type of personality she would have:
the hat screamed "adventurer" and that mischievous little smile hinted that she was a bit of a troublemaker.
I knew her story before I could even think of one, and I have come to love her even more as I've been working on my form. <3

What will I do if I win her?:
If I am lucky enough to win Alicia, she will be my absolute princess for all eternity.
I will order her art every chance I get, she'll have a page on my charrie site, and I will include her in the roleplay, as well.
I will also be entering a few other contests for Alice's future family members, so she'll never be alone. ^^
I would love her forever and pamper her constantly!

Oh my gosh... She's So Cute!!! <3

Kay so, i wasn't going to apply, but i just HAD to...!
The story just threw itself into my head and demanded to be written down...
So here's my form XD

.:Name:.
Adelie
.:Gender:.
Female
.:Size:.
Pony
.:Personality:.
Adelie is a well-rounded JBD.
She can be shy when you first meet her, but quickly warms to new people.
She loves to explore and try new things, and is always up for an adventure.
She isn't a loud or boastful JBD, and can often be found reading adventure books.
She likes the simple things in life; preferring stargazing and bird-watch to electronics.
Adelie likes fruits much better than candy, but enjoys some sweets on occasion.

.:Adventure:.
I look out across the sea-green waves as I stand on the bow of my sailboat. I can almost taste the
salty sea air in my mouth, filling my lungs with it's joyous scent. The wind blows through my fur as
I survey the ocean. It is a beautiful day to be out on the sea. I close my eyes and take a deep breath,
smiling to myself. Today I start on a journey that will stay with me for a life time. Today, I will sail
around the world. I wish a fond farewell to all of my friends as I push off. I set the sails and let the
wind carry me away. I then go check the maps and all measurements to make sure I am on course,
after that I sit down to start my journal. I will document the entire journey, so that I will never
forget a single detail of this amazing adventure. I head outside look out across the water as the
sun seems to slip into the sea itself. I go below-deck after a final check that I'm still going in
the right direction. I then climb into my bed and sigh in contentment; quickly falling into a
deep sleep, a smile etched on my face as I envision the upcoming months at sea.

I wake up, realizing it was only a dream. I look around at my room, full of mystical adventures
and glow in the dark stars. Full of dreams and adventures that would someday become a reality.
I knew that I would do anything I could to make those dreams come true. One day I would sail across
the ocean; taste the salty sea air for myself. I would no longer rely on stories and fables to tell me what
it's like. I would accomplish every single dream possible, but until then, i would continue my adventures
within the safety of my imagination, surrounded by my teddies and my rocket ship blankets.

.:Other:.
Good Luck to everyone <3

      Name;;
              Fallon Nutella Marine

              I wanted the name to correspond the Jellybean theme, in other words have a name inspired by something candy/sweets themed. I had the name "Nutella" mentally reserved in my head for a JBD for quite a while now, and I think I found just the right one. c: Then I chose Fallon because I think it's a really strong, adventurous but feminine name, just like this little JBD c: Lastly, I choose Marine as her surname, because I also wanted the name to be sea-related, because that's what I think of when I see this little fluff-ball. cx I love seas and adventures just like her, and also love to write, so the fact she has a hat made out of newspaper is really cute and dear to me ><

      Personality;;

      Biggest Adventure;;

Almond Biscuit's interview
Hello.
"Hi there friend! Can I call you Pillow? Your name is now Pillow."

But my name isn't.. Never mind. What is your name, pretty? And also.. Are you a girl or a boy?
"Almond biscuit, because almond are biscuits are the best things ever invented and I will not allow anyone to contradict me. My mom and dad were having a lot of fun naming me. Friends call me Almy, Bisc, Almond or just Biscuit. And Pillow, please understand that I am a girl and you might want your glasses checked."

Okay, okay, I'll get my glasses checked. What are your favourite things? Like food, animals, colours?
"Adventure is my best friend, silly you! Well.. Almond biscuits are simply delicious, I've taken a liking to seagulls because of Beaky, and I really like cream colours and aquamarine, but nothing says 'Almond Biscuit' like adventure! And I can prove it!"

Why not tell me a story of your adventures?
"Sure. So a bit of time ago, my parents gave me a really huge piece of paper. *This* large! I gathered up my silly friends to get some ideas on how to fold it. We agreed on nothing except the fact this paper was taking us on an adventure! So I said 'Hey, what about a paper boat, like an upside down paper hat?' and after a little more discussion, we were set to go! We didn't even pack up, we just started folding up the piece of paper into a hat. After a lot of work we came up with a boat that could fit only one of us in it. I instantly volunteered and decided to work more on the design of the boat. I added paper wings and little decorations, and the day after I went out to the beach. I put my trusty paper hat on, grabbed a packet of almond biscuits, and set off to sea. Soon the stars dropped into the night sky and the water sung lullabies to me. Soon I fell asleep, with my paper hat still on my head. I was woken up by an unnaturally annoying seagull who would not leave my boat and nearly hit my head on his face, since he was standing straight on my head! I named him 'Beaky' because his beak was huge and he would not be quiet for one second. After countless nights, brave adventuring and a lot of munching, I ran out of biscuits but luck helped me out and washed me onto unknown shores. There was thick shrubbery, very jungle-like and with amazing views. Me and Beaky got into trouble swinging from vine to vine and just exploring the island before reaching a group of indigenous, very smart jelly bean dragons like myself. They handed us a map to get back home. Before leaving though, me and Beaky reached the top of one of the many mountains on this island. The tallest one. As we stood there we breathed in the view and enjoyed the unnaturally strong wind trying to blow us down. In fact it did blow us down! We landed in a horribly smelling swamp and before we knew it, some other group of native dragons were tying us up and about to cook us into a meal. I managed to bargain to them to let us free for the recipe of my secret cookies. With our map, an adventure to tell, our boat and my newspaper hat, we set off to sea. All was well until the second night, when a large storm spread over the skies. Our poor paper boat nearly broke but we managed to get through the thunder, wind and dark clouds, although me and Beaky were completely soaked. I looked back at the storm only to notice my paper hat broken and sinking down. As we hit the shore of home, I was crying for two reasons. The first was I'd lost my trusty hat. The second was Beaky was lost, he had not arrived home and was probably still stuck in the thunderstorm. I dragged myself home and didn't smile as I dragged the paper boat back home. The day after I was woken up by a familiar sound. Beaky's screeches! I jumped outside to see Beaky with my paper hat in his beak, looking proud! Shoving my hat on me and Beaky were ready to do two things: The first was bake some ore cookies, the second to go on another adventure! And that my friend, is a story I will tell forever."

Very nice! That is all.
Bye, Pillow!
~~~
::Tribal Otter::'s interview
Hello, Tribal! How are you today?
Fine, thanks!
So, how would you describe Almond Biscuit's personality?
Well, there are various main points.
Adventurous: If there is an adventure nothing will make Almond back down from it. Nothing. If she could choose between swinging from a vine into the window than going through the front door, Almond's gonna choose the vine. She's also been known for sleeping outside in a tent when the sky is clear. Almond also likes the treasure from these adventures, but she doesn't care for it as much as she loves telling the story.
~
Loyal: If Almond promises you something, she's tied and bound to keep that promise. However silly she might get and however unfair it might be, she will always stick by her friends and family. If her friend broke someone's property, Almond would always be on her friend's side. Also, Almond despises people who do not understand the meaning of loyalty.
~
Clumsy: Almond has broken countless things in her life, including two pots, a vase, a Chinese tea set and a little stone statue. She trips over her own feet and has messed up a lot of baking in her life. Although she tries her best not to be clumsy, it's quite an obvious trait of her's.
~
Silly: Almond will go to the ends of the earth to make anyone laugh. She jokes about the randomest things and it's kind of hard to make her be serious. Almond is also a champion at making silly faces and could stay with her eyes crossed for ages. Even if someone dies she might have a joke prepared for when everyone is depressed. She also loves dancing around in a silly way.
~
Stubborn: Almond will fight for exactly what she thinks is right and you might just get a very evil stare if you try to change her mind. Others do not influence her very much and she will stick with whatever her idea is. She wants to go somewhere? Oh she is going there.
~
Medium tempered: Ye, even Almond loses her fuse sometimes and she will let you know. She does not want to hurt anyone in the process, she will just let you know you've stepped over the line. And she might also avoid you for a while. Things that will seriously make her explode are things like slapping her. Now that would be a mistake good sir.
Do you know anything about Beaky?
Yes, yes I do ^ ^ I'm glad you asked, Almy practically lives for Beaky and adventure. Well, as she might have already told you, Almond just sort of met Beaky on one of her adventures. Beaky is a seagull with a large beak and small eyes. He is unafraid of basically everything and is extremely obnoxious. He could talk for days!
Doesn't she seem a bit large for a lass?
Well, when she was a child she was around about bulldog sized, now she's about the size of a small German Shepherd. I think she'll grow up to be around about the size of a large Great Dane or a medium sized cow.
What does that hat mean to Almond?
A lot, actually. Once there was this really good news about cookie companies starting up again since they had run out of ingredients lately, and after a lot of happiness basically radiating off her, Almond's dad made a paper hat out of it. She always carried this around with her on adventures, and still does. Although the words are faded, you can still make out some of the words.
Nice to know. Bye!
And don't forget she hates losing her hat!
(Might add more c:)
She got The Catfish to succeed her goal of catching the Great Albino Catfish said to live in the west Pacific Ocean. Legand has it if a sailor is lucky enough to catch it, The Albino Catfish will reward the captain of the ship with one wish. Later that evening it turned out to be a fantasic fishing day! While Aukai was counting her collection of caut fish, one stubborn haddock flopped out of the bucket and finned her in the left eye. Aukai jumped back and screached. A couple of sailors rushed over to help. As they carried her away from the fish bucket, Aukai began to loose sight in her left eye. She then became unconscious and later woke up in the Ships Medical room.
Evenything was black in Aukai left eye. She reached her paw to it and discovered it was covered in cloth. Sailor Greg sitting across from her bed noticed she was awake and smiled, "Thank goodness your alright." He said. Aukai sat up, confused, "What happened?" "You were finned in the eye by a Haddock," Greg replied. "Will my eye be ok?" Aukai was worried, what if she went blind? The Sailor sighed, "I'm afraid you will be perminantly blind in your left eye," Aukai took a deep breathe, "Alright."
After a few months with her eye patched up, it was time to remove the bandages. Aukai closed her eyes and hoped that everything was ok. When she opened them, she could only see the right side of The Catfish. All of her crewmates stared at her blind eye in shock. Aukai simply ignored them and carried on to her fishing duties.
It was hard for Aukai to fish with one good eye. Every once and a while she would think to herself, How will I be able to catch the Great Albino Catfish now? but she knew a true adventurer would never let this stop them for doing great things, and neither did she. After getting used to fishing with one eye, it was actually pretty easy. It made fishing more fun and a challenge; Aukai loved it. When it was getting late, Aukai put away her fishing gear and gave the bucket of fish to one of her crewmates who took it to the kitchen. While Aukai was walking to her room Sailor Leo stopped her, "Ahoy Captain Aukai!" Aukai smiled, "Ahoy!" "I have some great news! We are two buoys away to the Great Albino Catfish!" "Thats great!" Aukai cheered. She soluted the sailor and went into her room. Putting her sailor hat on her night stand, she though about what she would wish for if she did catch such a big fish. Should she wish for a treasure chest full of gold to share with her crew-mates? Or maybe a bigger ship to go on more adventures. . . Aukai would decide tomorrow morning because she was already drifting into her dreams of being a famous Pirate.
BRRRRING BRRRRING The next morning was normal. But around lunch time while Aukai was eating a sandwhich, someone yelled, "Buoy!" Aukai dropped her sandwhich and followed everone else to the side of the ship. There it was, bobbing in the ocean water. The Catfish filled with cheers and whistles. Aukai was so glad that they made it this far. She stood on a barrel and waited for everyones attention. "I'm so happy and proud of all of you. We have been traveling for months now, and we are finally one bouy away from acheiving our dreams." Aukai said. Cheers and whistles. "When we get the Albino Catfish, I know what I will be wishing for," Aukai took a moment to think, "I will be wishing for all of us to be living in a paradise together, as a crew." The cheers were ten times louder this time. "Aukai! Auakai! Auakai!" The sailors chanted. Aukai smiled and bowed at her sailors. When she hopped of of the barrel her crew-mates went back to work.
Later that night The Catfish sailed to another bouy. There they were, in the Wishing Circle by the west of the Pacific Ocean; home to the Great Albino Catfish. All of the sailors - Including Aukai- started casting their rods into the ocean and patiently waiting for a bite. After several minutes of waiting, Aukai saw her bobber plunge under the water. She held tight to her rod and started turning the crank to cast the bobber in. The fish didn't put up much of a fight, so it couldn't have been the Great Albino Catfish. When the bobber lifted in the air, Aukai sighed. It was just a normal grey catfish. She grabbed the string connected to the rod and freed the fish from the hook into the ocean. Aukai stuck another square of meat onto the hook and casted her line again.
It was almost midnight and all Aukai caught was a couple of catfish and a Haddock. Sailor Greg was sitting next to her. "Its getting late Capain Aukai," He whispered, "Shouldn't we be going to bed soon?" Aukai sighed. Before she could reply, she felt a strong tug on her rod. Aukai struggled to pull the crank around and called for help. Sailor Greg and the other Sailors heaved on the rod while Aukai was still trying to crank. It took at least seven minutes to lift the fish out of the ocean. But when they saw it's white head peek over the water, they knew it was him. Aukai and the sailors conteniued to heave and crank until the Albino Catfish was on the ship. Everyone cheered until The Albino Catfish silenced them, "What is your wish?" Its voice boomed. Aukai had to think for a moment before she replied. She stared at the Albino Catfish and noticed that it looked very ill and old. Aukai couldn't help but feel bad for the poor fish. He must be worn out from giving so many wishes and not getting any love or attention in return. Aukai sighed and knew that she had to do the right thing. "I wish that you would be set free in the ocean and would never have to listen to any commands anymore." The sailors mumbled to eachother confused and angry. "You must be tired of being told what to do and never getting anything in return." She said, "Well it all ends here. I want you to be free to wish for whatever you please." The Great Albino Catfish paused for a moment then smiled, "As you wish." There was a bright flash and everything went black.
When Aukai opened her eyes she wasn't on her ship, she was on a beautiful island with tiki huts and tropical food resturaunts along with her crew! She sat up and looked toward the ocean shore. The Albino catfish popped his head out of the water. "Thank you Aukai," His deep voice called, "You granted my wish, so I granted yours." Aukai waved to the Albino Catfish as he swam away, free to do what ever he pleased.
