Reason for applying: To be honest, she reminds me of a horse I ride. Jazz is a really sweet black horse with a white blaze and some white on her feet. I believe she's a quarter horse x Throughbred, she's sort of round and thin looking.
Markings wise they aren't similar at all, appart from Jazzy's eyes looking a little bit red and the dark coat, but something about this equid really makes me think back to this horse. Jazz had a really bad infection in her hoof about a year ago, and while she's still alive she's unable to be ridden and has lost a lot of the big, cheerful personality she used to have. It's been really sad to watch her kicking at her stall and pacing around, she's not the same horse anymore.
That's sort of what I imagine for this equid. At one time she was proud, sassy and a real princessy little brat, but now she's somewhat broken. She gives the impression of a really determined and tough little equid who frustrated and weakened but ready to defend herself.

She's a lovely looking equid and she has so much personality. I really want to try and elaborate on her back story, as well as continue to draw her.
