when you first meet her, she is soft spoken, but she is friendly to anyone new. but, once you get closer, you soon learn she is quite a light of hope to many, even though you can't tell at first. Hope is a bundle of energy who is always ready to help, even with her clutzy potential and what seems to be a weaker side. she is stronger than many think, mentally and physically, and loves sugary treats to death! but, she has a ready laugh, a carefree air, and more adoration than anyone can imagine. though it is hard to pick, the only single word that fits her is colorful, and that only touches on her sweet personality.
Story:
i looked at my paper, baffled by the vast grocery list. just another crumy day in this crumy state of mind.... why did i even try? i walked down the bakery isles, searching for the bread. i paused for a moment to admire some finely decorated cakes, but colapsed when a huge, i mean HUGE pile of sweets crashed into me. i was covered in all kinds of hard candy, sugar from pixie stix, and a rainbow of frosting. i looked for the person i had hit, baffled. "oh, i am so sorry, please...."
but, this wasn't a person in front of me, it was a little dragon, pink and with an intricate design. where the heck was its owner? but, i nearly fainted when it spoke. "oh, sorry!" it squeaked, scrambling to pick up its fallen sugar mountain. i began to help clean up after a monent of shock, then when everything was reloaded on the red wagon, i stared as it devored the last cupcake that had hit the floor and licked its jaws. "mmm.... chocolate!" she giggled, looking at me with the cutest eyes i had ever seen.
"uh, so this is your candy?" i asked.
"yup! i love it all!" she pipped sing songly. "sorry i hit you. what is your name?"
"umm.... Alonia." i said, crouching to look at the furry energy ball closer.
the dragon gave a squeak of laughter again, licked some frosting off my nose, then said. "well, am Hope, and i like you already!" she nuzzled my cheek then said. "hey, how bout to make it up to you, i take you to my house? me and my other buddies are meeting there to go ice scating! and i am sure they would love to meet you!"
i thought for a second, then smiled. best day of my life! "sure! sounds like a blast!" for once, i felt content, and felt a small spring crack from my heart. i had... a friend.

Why you deserve this JBD:
well, its not really for me. i found this JBD, and almost melted, because this speaks every word of my best friend in one design. seriously, if it weren't for her, i might not even be here! i want to find some way of giving her something back for all the courage she give me and my other friends, and i think this is the perfect way.

But I hope that changes!!! I love them soooooooo much, and I am going to be writing stories about them and maybe my own creations! I will credit all who make these though!! I really want one and they are the best ever! I love dragons too!!!!
