What Did We Find?

HowlingHooves: Serris takes you and a small group out for a ride, and you all enjoy the sunshine and warm summer sun! Unfortunately you don't bring anything back, but you all had a great time!

While out with the Lowe twins, you all have some laughs as Mike and Marissa trade off telling stories at the expense of each other, the twin rivalry strong in the two. Before long you've already made a circuit of the old cross-country trail on the property, and the twins depart saying they need to get back and take care of some things at home before it gets too late. You didn't find anything, but heard some pretty entertaining stories about the twins!

While out with the twins, you all stop on a ridge for a quick break before spotting a horse that looks stuck in some mud! It takes a bit of time, and the entire group of you ends up muddied but you manage to get the horse back to the stables. Mike and Marissa talk to Sam, and after he makes a call to the NRTrA, they allow you to keep the horse once it's determined that it's healthy, if not a bit exhausted after being stuck in the mud for a while.

When you've got the trotter loaded, you find a Gopher rummaging around in the hay. The mare doesn't let you bother it, stomping when you try to catch it; guess it's her new friend!

While you're walking, she finds a very spectacular feather, and tells you bluntly to keep it, but not to mention that she let you since feathers aren't really supposed to be picked up... You found a Glossy Feather!

After tying the mare safely, a coyote slinks inside just before you shut the door, hiding between the mares legs.. she snorts and pins her ears when you try to get it out, though, and the coyote seems very attached to her. Guess you've got a pair to take home!

You remember that Hailey said she was looking for a walking partner a few days ago, but it looks like she hasn't been around the stables today. She must be busy!

It's pretty quick to catch, and after bringing it back Sam takes a look and says the poor girl is just overheated. A quick call to the NRTrA and they're happy to let you take the mare home, she'd likely do much better in your care than out in roaming in the heat.

After loading up, you spy something hiding in the nose of the trailer; it looks like a small bobcat, sleeping away! It opens and eye when you come closer, but refuse to move even when you try to poke with with a broom handle. Guess it's going with you!

As you load up you new mare, you see a cat stretching out as much as it can, sauntering in after you before stretching up against your new horse, then leaping atop it and curling up. She doesn't care, and Serris giggles before letting you know you can take the cat too, if you want; there's plenty around the property. You might as well, you could always use a new mouser!

You spot Alex putting his short little trotter back into his stall after some jumping lessons, and he's excited to see you! He manages to convince you to go with him and his mom on their usual walk after lessons, and the three of you enjoy some light chatter and excited talking about the next jumping show coming up. Heather thanks you for spending your time with her and her son, and though you don't find anything on your walk you're hyped up as much as Alex about your next show, too!

If you find a feral trotter, please be sure to claim it if you want to keep it! if not posted on by the owner after two consecutive round openings + closures, the trotter will be offered back to the creating artist if they'd like to keep it, or put up for raffle if they decide not to claim it!
This is to help keep things in the archive from becoming cluttered with unclaimed finds since not everyone will like what comes of the random coat. If you find you don't like the design, you can send me or the creating artist a message saying so. No worries since it's all random, things just may not jive and that's a-okay. c:
