Falmea (owned by me): Falmea and Josee have a terrible relationship, but that can only be assumed considering that Falmea's a wendigo hunter. When they met, Josee only wanted to be friends, but when she "asked", Falmea snarled and tried to set her on fire with her flamethrower. Also, when Falmea's "How to Survive a Wendigo" handbook went missing, Josee was the one who stole it as revenge for the hostility Falmea displayed.
Venolea (owned by me): Venolea is a "monster whisperer" so Josee has a good relationship with her. They met when Venolea accidentally fell into the mines when searching for Falmea. She had no clue how to get around, so upon finding her, Josee led her out. Since then, they've seen each other often, despite Falmea's protests. Josee's close relationship with Venolea is probably the only reason why Falmea hasn't fried her yet.
Areluu (owned by me): Areluu and Josee have an interesting relationship to say in the least. Josee has no idea that Areluu, who she call "Aroo" in her scrambled speech, is a werewolf, so she doesn't understand why she acts so fidgety and weird whenever Josee offers to let her stay with her in the mines when it's "too late to be roaming about". Overall, they're really close friends, mostly because they have a similar problem: society considers them monsters. Often, the two can be seen wandering around together in the lower part of the mines, where the gems are giant and cover the cave walls. Josee seems to be more protective over Areluu than anyone else she knows, and it's possible that she might just have the slightest crush on her.

Personality
Primarily, Josee is foolish, hard-working, and kind; however, few seem to know this. By most RPWs, Josee is seen as a terrifying beast who preys on lost travelers. This, as explained before, is not the case. If she ever appears scary, she's not trying to; her way of making friends is just... Flawed. Though she doesn't show it much, Josee is very protective of herself and of friends, so if you know what's good for you, don't threaten her; you wouldn't win the fight. If you manage to get on her bad side, don't be surprised if she tries painting warning signs on you; she's just trying to warn others that you're mean. That being said, she doesn't really understand that you can be mean to one person, but nice to another; probably because with Wendigos, you're either all nice, or all mean. Since she sees only by movement in one eye, small things, like snowflakes and rain, for example, drive her crazy. Therefore, she rarely ever leaves her home in the mines, which could make you consider her a bit anti-social. When she does "talk" with people, she's usually awkward about it, and the fact that she has to write what she wants to say down doesn't help; nor does her terrible penmanship. From a stranger's point of view, overall, you could consider her "crazy, crafty, and relatively ignorant."

Basic History
Josee comes from a long line of Wendigos, some fierce, and some friendly. None of them could actually speak, so they just spoke in their own dog-like language that consisted of barks, yelps, yowls, and anything similar. Most of them were miners, so most of the family stayed together, living in the same place. On the day of the well-known mine cave in, Josee's entire family was there, and she was the only one to survive. This event filled her with sorrow, and she became bitter for quite a long time. After a few years, though, the bitterness faded, and she decided she didn't want anyone to have to feel the pain she felt when she lost her loved ones. Therefore, she began painting "keep out" and "warning" signs in her spare time, putting them up all over and around the mines. Throughout this time up to the present day, she continued mining, as it was pretty much one of the only things she knew how to do. After many years, she became one of the best miners the family would've ever seen; she was able to tell just how deep and far she'd have to mine to find specific gems. Normally, her tunnels would go to the specific level needed to find rubies, her favorite precious stone. She keeps a stash of precious stones that she'll give to tourists and passerbys in exchange for food and other things. Also, she seems to want to make stone sculptures; she's not that good now, but she's always practicing when she's not busy with other things.

exterior personality ;; When you first start talking to Kalil, he gives off a rather gruff personality. He definitely acts older than he really is, as he's only a young adult, but seems very grumpy. In fact, some would go so far to say he's mean. However, if you take the time to get to know him, you'll see that he only ever acts like this for a little while.
interior personality ;; Once you break past Kalil's exterior personality, you will find that he really wanted to see if you were dedicated in becoming friends with him by acting the way he did. This is probably his own way of testing people to see who are actually nice people. He is carnivorous, although he will eat things other than meat if he has to, but he is not a cannibal. However, he does sometimes make jokes about it. He likes to scare kids during Halloween, although he likes children in general and just doesn't want to admit it. He's extremely sweet, and you will also find his exterior personality is so that he doesn't seem weak. After all, he looks big and scary, so it's only logical that you have to act mean too. He loves reading fiction novels, as he writes fiction himself and also really enjoys hot chocolate and warm fires. He is definitely insecure about how he is perceived by others - although he'd never admit that - and really just needs friends who will boost him up.

interest in love ;; Kalil is waiting for his special someone. He feels that one day he will definitely have one, so there's no reason to rush it. He's willing to wait patiently till he meets her. When he does find his girl, he will be extremely loyal to her, very romantic (all those fiction novels that have romance will definitely pay off), and protective of his girl if he feels someone is making a move on her.

relationship with helena ;; Kalil and Helena are old friends. Helena is generally very accepting, although that was more so when she was a pup then now, as she is starting to realize that some people are just scary. She is younger than Kalil and was one of the few people who was friends with him through his time in school. She is extremely close with him, and will often go to him for advice after asking her parents, as she feels that he gives solid advice. Their relationship is sort of an older brother/younger sister relationship. Kalil is rather protective of Helena, so he has informed her that if she ever gets a boyfriend, he must have his stamp of approval.
relationship with jordan ;; Jordan is pretty much downright terrified of Kalil. They're making progress very slowly, but the poor pup is literally scared of everything. He is all brains and no brawn, so his courage is basically down the drain. Kalil tries to let his interior personality shine around Jordan, which helps the pup relax a little bit. Maybe when he's older they'll be able to make more progress.
relationship with bruno ;; Kalil really likes Bruno. He likes to talk to him because Bruno is willing to see things in different ways. Because he doesn't accept failure, Kalil is often really impressed with what Bruno can accomplish.
relationship with desta ;; Kalil often struggles to talk to Desta, considering the fact that Desta is mute and Kalil knows minimal sign language. However, he does make a point to try and be friends with Desta, although he also doesn't want to be too helpful and not give him a chance to do things without help.

history ;; Kalil was born the way he is. His parents didn't care. They accepted him the way he was and loved him. However, the kids at school did care. He was considered a sissy, and he was bullied for it. However, when he talked to his parents about it, he was told to stick up for himself. He was bullied, be a bully back. Trying this approach, he was able to make the bullies back off. Majority of others were also intimidated though, so Kalil felt isolated. A select few were able to befriend him at that time though, including Helena who was a few grades below him. They - like his parents - accepted him the way he was.
