Staff, Artist Guidebook, Pay ETC GuidebookNotice; Do not give free adoptables or customs to accounts that are younger than 2 months old, unless they have been personally vouched for already by a respected member of the community. Paid adoptables and WTA/DTA's are fine.
If you need to take an extended break, and will be uncontactable, please let us know ahead of time. Failure to respond for a month will result in you being removed as staff.
As an Archivist, you're expected to help keep the archives and forms as close to up-to-date as humanly possible
You earn 1 Staff point for any adopts/customs archived. Uploading the PNG reference(s) to the google drive also rewards 1 staff point
For every form in the questing/upgrades that is archived, you gain 1 Staff Point
As a Moderator, you're expected to help out the owner/archivists with the technical side, along with enforcing the rules of the species
You earn 1 Staff point for rolling any forms under questing
You also earn 1 staff point for each shop/upgrade form that you process
Dealing with user issues (correcting those who post at wrong time/wrong forum, solving banking issues etc) will reward 1 Staff point
As an Artist, you're expected to make 2 free adoptables every month you're active.
How much you earn past that is up to you. Free adoptables [including free customs] earn you 2 Staff Points each; paid adoptables [including paid customs ] earn you 1 Staff Point each.
Free nursery adopts earn you 2 Staff Points per adopt; Paid nursery adopts earn you 1 Staff points per adopt. That is doubled if you also design how they look like grown.
You can earn Staff Points as well by updating your adoptables in the archive;
You can spend your Staff Points at the Lumitech shop. You're required to keep track of your Staff Points within your Co-Op Archive.
Staff Compensation
Staff receive a 1 Silver, 3 Bronze Driver each month when hitting the following minimums
- Any artist who makes at least 4 adopts per month
- Archivists who archive at least 3 adopts fully (including the owner/any reference changes) OR bank/roll a page of Questing forms
- Moderators who roll a page of Questing forms
Staff can also earn special, Staff Drivers that grants a 1 Gold, 2 Silver, Unlim under Driver based on activity each month
- Any artist who makes 6+ Adopts per month will gain one, and gain another for every 10 adopts after that
- Archivists who archive at least 6 adopts fully (including the owner/any reference changes) OR takes on quest rolling
- Moderators who take on quest rolling
All Customs are posted under the MYO/Customs page. If you have a staff myo that you want to be part of the permanent NPC page, message OriGalaxii and you will be added to the canvas.
Rolling For Activities
Several aspects of the species are controlled by an RNG pool, hosted by random.orteil. Any staff member trained with the roller is allowed to preform rolls for DIY nurseries, Upgrades or Questing
After selecting the appropriate roller, select the drop down relating to what is needed, and roll!
Unless there is an error with the roller, Staff are not allowed to reroll the results more than once for a form.
Staff also cannot roll for their own results, and must wait for another staff member to do it for them.
For the Nursery, staff will gain 0.5 SP per program rolled, rounded upwards when needed (19.5 becomes 20, etc)
Staff earn 1 SP for each program rolled for Token fusions, Monthly myos and Random program Drives/SDs
MYO Approvals
Artists can and should help with MYO approvals. You earn Staff Points for this action, so rest assured your work is paid :)
The official protocol for approving MYO are....
- Ensuring that the Programs listed match the MYO on the canvas.
- Ensuring that the Programs listed match the allowance of the MYO being used.
-- If neither of these things line up, stop here, and tell them what to fix. Do not proceed until it's in an approvable state. - If the Joltterbug is approvable, post in the #archive-updates staff channel with the link, ID and any items that should be removed from the bank
- Comment or reply to the person seeking the approval, and tell them their ID #. Tell them their design is approved.
You can earn 2 Staff Points for this action; 1 for Approving it and posting in the discord, and 1 for filling out the information on the archive yourself. You earn 1 Staff Point for sending an adopt back for approvals if it needs it.
This protocol works for on and off-Oekaki MYOs.
Off-Oekaki DIY Nursery approvals work similarly, but are not available yet.
You earn a staff point for each Grub approved, and a staff point for each Grub archived.
Indie Adopts
Indie adopts are adoptables not made on the main Joltterbug lines or canvas. As an artist, this is considered a privilege, and requires prior permission from OriGalaxii. Indies will have a seperate archiving ID, and must added to the archives by the artist. Compensation otherwise is the same as regular adopts + archiving
- Posting Joltterbugs!
- Reserve their ID #'s in the archive [ to do so, make the ID#'s and then slap your artist name in the artist field OR post in #archive-update to ask an archivist to do so for you]
- Fill out any applicable information you know before posting (such as known traits, magic, etc. if Off-Oekaki Custom, you can include the owner here.)
- Post your adopt, and link the post on the ID#'s in the archive.
- Update information if you can, otherwise ask an archivist for help.
That's it! Reserving the ID # is very important so we can all number them appropriately. Thank you.
All artists, moderators, and admins are required to be respectful and kind while interacting with the community.
If a member of staff goes quiet and does not do a job-related task for three months, they are removed from their post.
Bankers and archivists earn 1 Staff Point per task they complete and that money can be spent at the shop too.

Custom Note As regular artists, you are allowed to offer up to Silver programs for customs, excluding items the user provides.
Free customs must not exceed one Bronze program.Minimum Custom Prices are...
100 C$ / $5 USD / 500 FRG for any Bronze Tier traits
+180 C$ / $10 USD / 800 FRG Additional Silver Traits
You cannot offer higher rarities than that.
Paid Adopt Minimums are 80 C$ / $5 USD / 300 FRG
Paid Nursery batches are 80 C$ / $5 USD / 300 FRG per grub minimum.
USD transactions are handled over our Discord linked at the top of the page.
Artists must complete USD work within a month or will lose their custom taking privileges.
