Polledogs are small cute dog-like creatures inspired by fairy type pokemon. These creatures can grow up to 6 feet long from nose to tail, and always have short legs and a flower on their head. This flower is used to produce pheromones' that calm and relax others, and used in defense against predators ( a bit like Cute Charm from pokemon ). The type of head flower, the amount of fluff on the body, and wings are all parts that can vary across different individuals, often times coinciding with the terrain the creature lives in.

Hello, my name is Moon and was made by SpiritX. I will be your guide when discovering this species. By the way, the Polledog you see on the cover is my Polledog'form. I am of the " Lovo Wings " species with a tail color inspired by the Bigenre flag. I belong to Zoruna, be it my human form or my Polledog form, so please don't steal from me ♥

With these words, let me present the regulations to you, then I will present the species on another post!

- Please do not come crying if you do not receive the desired Polledog. It will be for next time.
- In the same way, thank you for being respectful towards the whole community, at the risk of being banned from the species. If this were to happen, you will be prohibited from adopting the species, including through purchase from members other than the staff.
- You can do whatever you want with your Polledog, including shape him into another species! However, only Polledog or human forms are canon in-universe and can be used for my species' potential activities. The rest does not belong to the Polledog Multiverse and cannot be used for a contest, or any other Polledog-related activity.
- You cannot resell a Polledog for more money than you spent to buy it and its possible pieces of complementary arts. Also, you cannot sell Polledog for IRL currency, unless you paid for an art with this payment method.
- The Polledogs and their community are respectful of everyone. Also, anyone caught using the species to declare racist, homophobic or other similar remarks contrary to CS rules, will be directly sanctioned without notice. Polledogs come in all colors and genders, so have fun ♥

Presentation of the species :

There are terrestrial Polledog ( without wings ) and different types of winged Polledog.
Some winged Polledog species can be born wingless, or with only one wing. This is extremely rare, and Polledogs of this genus are shunned by their peers, as it is said to bring bad luck. For this reason, females also avoid mating with so-called "cursed" males for fear that their young will be cursed as well. They are therefore generally excluded from groups, and therefore live either alone or in a group of other excluded Polledogs, if they have managed to find others. Sometimes wingless Polledogs manage to integrate into terrestrial groups, but this is quite rare, unless the Polledog found the clan while young, because it does not know the customs of the clan, and does not does not have the colors and attributes necessary for its survival in this same clan.

Colors and particularity of the species that are known to date :

Polledogs of different species are recognizable by their colors or different body attributes.


Terrestrial species :

Terrestrial species of the plains : they have no wings, and have predominantly earth / natural colors, ie, brown or green. They can also be red, orange or sand colored. They feed on any kind of flowers from the forests, or fruits that they manage to find. In addition to their fragrant flower, they camouflage themselves in tall grass in order to escape their predators. They can also swim very well and can sometimes feed on small fish, in addition to the rest of their diet, but they must be careful of otters and beavers, which may attack them, fearing for their territory. They also fear the same predators as weasels, who take them precisely for weasels, so the grasses allow them to hide from wild boars, vipers or large raptors.


Arctic land species : this particular species has no wings and lives in cold regions, such as mountains, and feeds on flowers found in the snow, or small rodents. Their coat is gray or white, to help them camouflage themselves in the snow. Sometimes, some are born with black spots, or almost or even completely black, but the blacker an individual is, the more it will have to have a powerful fragrant flower on its head, at the risk of not surviving, since it loses its ability to camouflage. Like the arctic fox, they fear wolves, bears, wolverines and snowy owls, especially when they are babies or have dark coats.



Winged Species :

Species " Lovo Wings ": named after the shape of their wings, these Polledogs are extremely numerous in the month of February, especially on Valentine's Day, as it is said to be their favorite breeding day. Nevertheless, it sometimes happens to find some the rest of the year, but it is quite rare. There is very little information on this species, apart from their physical particularities. Indeed, they have heart-shaped wings, antennae and ears. They also have a heart pattern on their belly. According to some scientists, they feed exclusively on flowers and pollen, and potentially love, love making them stronger, without hurting their victim. This species can only be red, pink, white or purple in color. There may be other colors, but they are rarer than the others and in general, they still have a little red, pink, white or purple on their body.


" Pride " species : so named because they look like a pride flag, these Polledogs have the particularity of appearing in the month of June. There are sometimes some at other times of the year, but they are less numerous then. This species is one of the few that mixes winged Polledog and wingless Polledog without any problems for their society. For their colors, they vary in color, and each individual represents a pride flag with their colors. All the colors of a flag must be represented on a Polledog: there is none that does not have all the colors of its flag. They can have a minority color, but if for example the transsexual flag is chosen, the Polledog must have blue, white and pink. In addition, when a Polledog of this species is born, it is mandatory to present the flag from which it comes, so that it is validated by its colony ( in other words, you must show the original flag, in order that your Polledog is validated as being a Pride Specie )
On the food side, they feed on everything, not being very complicated, and being a cross of many species living together.

What is Pollen used for ?

Pollen can be useful to buy Myo allowing you to attract Polledog to you. He can also allow two Polledogs to breed together, in order to obtain one or two offspring. It may also, in the future, possibly allow new things.
