The history and information about the Ziastaii.
──────────
The Ziastaii are large, canine-like creatures that live in the far northern tundras. They primarily nest and make dens in the high mountains, burying themselves in the snow. Their back foreclaws act as ice picks that help them climb the mountains, and their pointed tail and back spikes keep them just visible enough that their clanmates know where they are in the snowdrifts.
They shed their claws on a monthly basis, keeping them plenty sharp. The claw sheathes drop and act as territory markers, keeping foreign Ziastaii out of their clans. If any battle does occur, then they will fight with their teeth and charge at each other like rhinoceroses. The foreclaws are also used in combat, but they don't do well due to the thickness of the fur.
Ziastaii mate for life, and have diverse genders. There is only one sex, but it takes two to have a pup.
Ziastaii form clans, with the strongest Ziastaii as leaders. There is only one leader per clan. They have Olympic-like challenges to determine who is the strongest. Size is also a large part of the hierarchy. Instead of the strongest bullying the weakest, the strong protect and teach the weak.
The leader and their mate live together in the den, and if there is extra room in other chambers then other clanmates will sleep there. Any other Ziastaii that cannot fit in the den will sleep outside, being covered in a blanket of snow.
Every clan is made up of about 20-21 individuals, and about half of them will hunt- usually the stronger ones- and the rest will stay home and puppysit.

Uncommon;
Mane, feathers, shorter fur, ear edits, leg/claw edits, small horns

Rare;
2 tails, standard/large horns, vents, glowing markings, extra limbs, gigantism, dwarfism, chimerism, antennae, extra mouth, extra eyes, magic abilities, larger/extra fangs/tusks, extra ears

Very Rare;
Flightless wings, 3+ tails, 2+ sets of horns, plant/crystal growth, scales, 8+ limbs, living body parts, exposed bone, multiple heads, transparency, fins

Banned
You may not use these traits on a Ziastaii
Pupils/Design in eye, Missing Arrow Scar, Less than 3 spikes on back, less than 1 spike on snout.
