This husky was never readopted, so she's now open for adoption to everyone! She's a greying dominant black dog, but there's a fun mix of genes underneath that could make for some really cute pups. This pale lady is remarkably loving, and is happy to be around anyone and everyone.

For this competition, tell me about when she first met her handler! How did their meeting go? Did her handler actually intend to adopt her when they first met? Prompt: When Nico met Artemis they weren't looking for a pale dog. In all honesty they weren't even looking for a dog, but Nico saw her little fuzzy face and her mysterious dark eyes full of intellegence and fell in love. Nico was afraid of Artemis due to having a bad past involving dogs.
Because of Nico's fear he was very cold to her; he took good care of her, but his fear kept him from getting close. Nico is starting to get over his fear and now plays with her and is very loving. Nico is evsn thinking of starting up a small breeding project with her breed in the future!

Prompt: Lux was overjoyed running over to the rescue. Snow fell calmly around the town, after 16 years Lux was finally able to build up a sled dog team and work with the breed. Lux was amazed, excited, and was shuddering in anticipation to see the Huskies. the kennels were all vacant... a worry loomed over Lux "Am i going to get a Husky today? after 16 years do i need to wait more? Longer? Disappointment was the only thing that Lux felt at that moment, looking at all the open kennels, when a little white snout peaked out from the bars on one kennel in the back. Relief Lux to this dog immediately, her eyes were small buttons full of joy and anticipation for their future, "how could i say no?" Bella jumped into Lux's arms, searching over the environment with her inquisitie eyes and seeing nothing but grey cages swinging in the brisk coldness, but she felt so warm in the arms of her new owner; a home, something she had longed for. Security; warmth; a friend. Her life was just starting. Bella's tail beat happily against Lux's ribs as if it was going to fall off she was so excited to be able to play and live in a house she could finally call her own. Bella had felt companionship before as had the other huskies in the kennel she was raised from a puppy when her mum rejected her, she was ready and so excited to pay forward the love she was shown to Lux and all her future friends

Lucy had come to the shelter to met another dog, he hands where shaking as she entered the kennels. That’s when she saw a fluffy gray dog leaning on the fence. This wasn’t the dog she had come to see but she felt drawn to her. Reading the info was hard as the dog pressed into her hands licking her. It as love at first sight and some they where headed off, ever since they have been side by side.

The pink haired, dimple cheeked twenty year old had feared dogs since the time she’d managed to get bitten by a dog that had gotten loose in her hometown of Miami. Braelynn, known as Bee, had moved to Alaska to live closer to her best friend who owns his own pack of Baltic's. She refused to visit his house because of his dogs, and he respected her wishes– but one day he insisted that Bee should come over, where he slowly introduced her to his huskies.
After a few weeks, she’d begun to grow comfortable around all his dogs, but Bee was still fearful. Though one day when Bee and her bestie were simple chilling in the dog yard, she noticed an unfamiliar dog peeking out from its doghouse. Out of curiosity, Bee asked where it’d come from, her best friend told her that the dog was quite fearful of people. He’d gotten her from a breeder with the hopes that the dog would become a perfect sled-dog like her parents, but as the husky grew she became more and more shy. The gears in Bee’s head turned as she thought about the young husky, perhaps if she had exposure to being handled she’d be less afraid– so that’s exactly what Bee has started. She started to hang around the dog more, at first Wolf was still uncomfortable, but with time Bee had become her favorite human. Wolf would only come around Bee, and the dog had become Bee’s favorite as well.
Upon seeing the bond between his friend and his dog, he offered Wolf to Bee. It took a few days for her to decide, but she couldn’t refuse. Since then, Bee and Wolf had been the beastest of friends. Wolf had taught her that not all dogs should be feared, and Bee taught Wolf that there’s no reason to be afraid of people.
