What is a Puffkin you might ask? A Puffkin is a plush-like dragon that is filled with clouds and certain amounts to help keep their soft-like nature in tact along with helping them maneuver through their cloud-like home. These creatures, being made of plush, are rather soft to the touch and are generally well mannered creatures with the occasional one that stray to the wild side. They're known to be sociable creatures among themselves, but hardly stray off towards other species within their realm. It is known that a few of these creatures have been known to converse with others outside of their kind with an array of chirps and squeaks, but never in their native language.

As peaceful as these these creatures may be, there still has been a rupture between the leaders of the leaders of the realm that has caused a rupture between the two clans, leading to what is known as "The Great Divide." Each ruler has split off across the land, starting their own civilizations. Within these civilizations live small troop that display their crest upon a dream catcher. Some Puffkins were forced to choose which leader to follow and have formed their troops within the two clans, though that is all in the past.

Most Puffkins are rather neutral looking, and it makes it slightly difficult to decipher which clan they belong to, however, there are a few wild puffkins that have mutated to show their nature, although they are rather rare. Those within the dream clan may exert more angelic qualities while those on the side of nightmares are quite the opposite.

Anyone found breaking these rules will be given a strike. If a user obtains three strikes it will result in a ban.

▶ Please be respectful to other members of the community and staff.
▶ Harassment of any kind will not be tolerated what so ever.
▶ Puffkins are a closed species, meaning you are not permitted to create your own
unless you have obtained a MYO ticket. Proof must be provided.
▶ You are not allowed to sell, or purchase, a puffkin with any type of
currency or other payment method. [ex: art, pets, etc]
Only purchases from the shop areacceptable.
▶ Do not change the design of your puffkin. Edits/changes are only acceptable
with the use of the proper item. Exceptions to this are the addition of accessories.
▶ Mini modding is not allowed no matter the situation.
▶ As of right now (6/9/19) No Puffkin shall be traded or gifted
▶ If you are permanently banned, you will get your puffkins taken from you.
Meaning you cannot continue to possess any Puffkins.
By participating in the species, you agree to all of these terms and conditions

▶ You are only permitted to have one troop, with one founder.
▶ You must maintain a storage thread or website for your troop.
▶ Once you choose a clan to be a part of, you are not permitted to switch. So choose wisely

come in to view, although it's not common.

These kind of Puffkins are rather difficult to find and seem to show up every blue moon.
Not much is known about Puffkins of this type, but I'm sure more shall be discovered later on.

Iᴛ ᴀʟʟ sᴛᴀʀᴛᴇᴅ ᴡɪᴛʜ ᴀ ᴄʟᴜsᴛᴇʀ ᴏꜰ ᴄʟᴏᴜᴅs.

This cluster of various clouds ranging from stratus to cumulonimbus came together to create a singular shape.
This single spec of cloud slowly started to solidify as the wishes and dreams of the youth entered the world
taking the form of various fabrics. When combined with the small cloud, the fabrics soon surrounded the gaseous
form, enclosing it to form different limbs and other structures that have formed a body. The first Puffkin.
Not much else is known about that this Puffkin looked like exactly, although legends tell of a Puffkin who's
patterned in white and emits a glow like no other. With the power it was granted it started to build a
small community for itself and to those that shortly joined them as more and more wishes and dreams were
made in the dreamscape itself. It wasn't long before the species in itself began to flourish on it's own, and the
Puffkin of white slowly began to disappear. No one knows of it's whereabouts to this day. However, this isn't the end.
When the great Puffkin vanished out the the picture, there were two descendants of the great one that came into
power and formed the basis of the community as we know it.

Lᴏɴɢ Aɢᴏ...
Before the great divide, the dreamscape was once a rather peaceful place, a unified place, where Puffkins
were happily able to roam free across the land. This was partially due to the unique bond between the rulers of the land,
King Solis, the initial protector of dreams and Queen Lunari, keeper of the nightmares. Together, they watched over the dreamscape, making sure all harm that could befall the land and their people. The two ruled over the land for many centuries

All of this seemed to change when their two sons came into power.
The two brothers never truly saw eye to eye when it came to the direction of where their attention should lie.
One brother saw the values in creating new life from the dreams of the youth and maintaining the current growth
while the other thought it would be best to rebuild thing things that were previously destroyed as these few things
contained a malicious energy.. While in power, the two constantly butted heads with one another until the younger of
the two decided the strike first, declaring war.

The two brothers, being equal in power, decided ended their battle in a draw, and an agreement to go their separate ways.
With the rule and power being split between the two, the citizens are left with a tough decision.

Wʜɪᴄʜ Lᴇᴀᴅᴇʀ Wɪʟʟ Tʜᴇʏ Fᴏʟʟᴏᴡ?

Though time has since passed and the two feuding brothers were still at "war" with one another. Through that time these two have made amends, though they still engage in friendly competition. The two are not as strict as they once were with their clans, they have decided that as a whole, the species will come together and live as one, though troops must still decide which clans they will devote themselves too as they will gain new responsibilities.

Together these two clans most join forces to rebuild what was once destroyed, tie up loose ends and start to start society over once again as a unified community.

Formed from the purest of light and the softest of tears,
The Clan of Dreams was formed by the eldest son of Solis and Lunari.
Cloud

Cloud, being the more calm sibling of the pair, prefers to stay out in
the light, tending to those that dream and making sure that they're protected
from the advancements of any malice. Cloud believes that offense is the
best defense, no matter the situation.

As a promise to his clan members, he chooses to let them live in peace
and tranquility as long as they vow to cherish living things and aid in the
growth of new life within the dreamscape.

Those that choose to side with the dream clan take the responsibility of
making sure that all dreams remain lighthearted and peaceful and they
must protect the dreams of those in the real world.

Members within this clan have access to clan specific traits.
Puffkins with clan specific traits are rather rare and hard to come by.
These traits can be earned later on.

The Clan of Nightmares was formed by the youngest son of Solis and Lunari.
Raven

Unlike his brother, Raven prefers to spend most of his time in the dark
basking in the pale moonlight, watching over the things that have long since
been forgotten or abandoned. He isn't as power hungry as he seems but
he does enjoy a bit of chaos and trouble making from time to time. He is
a firm believer that offense is best the offense.

As a promise to his clan members, he'll make sure that they're in the best
shape to fend off any potential attacks that come their way and help control
the things that most would find themselves afraid of.

Those that choose to side with the nightmare clan take the responsibility of
making sure that all nightmares are scary within reason. They must aid in
keeping nightmares from spinning into all sorts of chaos, despite how fun it
might be.

Members within this clan have access to clan specific traits.
Puffkins with clan specific traits are rather rare and hard to come by.
