so umm question- I notice they have mouth edits as common, do they not speak or open their mouths normally when drawn outside the ref?

mouth edits would be like changing the actual shape of the mouth itself, or adding things like teeth/fangs!! expression edits are nr and can be applied at any time, since thats true, they would move their mouth/faces to talk and make expressions!!
