Not a mod or staff member, but I'd boldly say yes, since my own clan (Aspen Grove) isn't based on the books and you have the freedom to create your own ranks, cat names, ect. I think the only thing you should keep in mind is that cats here use herbs for healing and moons refers to months (and is a means of marking how old a cat is; ei 28 moons is 2 years and 4 months).
