What are the rules for redesigning an MYO?
If I were to get a kalon (From a gift/trade) that was originally from an MYO, would I still be able to redesign it following the rules? (No breedings, same traits, etc) or would it have to be just kept the same? ^^

In order for a MYO to qualify for a revamp, it must have been designed by or for you; it cannot be a MYO someone made for themselves and then later disconnected with and gifted/traded uvu

is there anyway to get a slot from a breeding without having kalons? like be able to keep a kit from a batch or do they all go to the parents?

The owners of the parents decide the fates of the kits, yes. The owners decide if they'd like to gift or put a kit up for readoption, or if they'd like to keep them all. uvu A lot of Kalons are put up for readoption, you can keep your eye on the fanclub to catch when users post them.
