I know I'm not a mod, but I thought I would help out.
You have to look at the different adopts under the front page. If they have a code under it to where you have to fill out a form to adopt, then you can enter for that pet.

So, look at front page [or go to the archives], look for a pet that hasn't been adopted and enter to win the cat/dog.
