There was a time, when Amelias was still young and new to world, where her small spouts sparked a tremendous joy within her. She'd regard them with a level of wonder and amazement, an innocence that plagued her until their bloom. The dream of her own barricade of beautiful flowers was comforting, until it wasn't. The small and once faultless spouts bloomed into deep red blossoms, all arising around her eyes. The sudden growth not only caused issues with her sight, but Amelias would have trouble maintaining her confidence as well. Distain for the carmine flowers only grew as her insecurities and peers subjected her to an onslaught of inner conflict. Fortunately, Amelias was self-aware of her health's downfall and sought to make peace with herself. Despite being skeptical and doubtful of any true success, she did make progress. The path to learning to love her flowers and having pride in them is a longs ways off, but she's learned to embrace them as what they are: A part of herself.

Prompt: Willow’s answer to this question really depends on the given moment. Some days, he feels like a super model, strutting down the street with orchids blowing through his hair and tail. Other days, his flowers are just impossible to work with. No matter how he styles his cream colored locks, his orchids continuously get tangled in his flowing mane. When his orchids grow too wild, Willow desperately seeks someone to help trip them down. Even though they are just small flowers, they can start to weigh his head down. It is also a bit of a hassle for Willow to manage the colorful flowers on his tail, which he cannot reach to trim them himself. Willow also quickly realized how appealing the long flowers on his tail could be to baby fumis—learning the hard way when his two children were born. For the most part, however, Willow enjoys standing out from the crowd. It is always easy to spot him, and his long orchids come in handy as a bookmark every now and then. All in all, Willow would not change his flowers, even if that means he always has to sit in the back row in the movie theater.

Samur loves their roses. they consider them a part of their tattoos as a whole, an important part of the whole 'picture'. they chose to tattoo their plant-growth arms to highlight the flowers, bright against the dull-coloured tattoos. they make sure the leaves don't grow too wild, and that the petals don't wilt. the deeper the red of the flower, the better! being on their arms, the roses can be hard to tend to sometimes, so they ask their child Joaquin to help out! they work together to tend to and make sure the roses are looking the best they can.

Elix spends a lot of time around his parent, Giedras. He's learning a lot of things from them, mainly simpler things like how to sew fabric and sow plants, how to make sure the horses are brushed properly and how to pick the chickens up in just the right way. One day he hopes to become a bigger part of the farm, but for now, he's content helping with simple chores, spending his idle time out in the fields watching the clouds go by.

He has a few friends in town, and Giedras has their own set of friends, bringing them over for a quiet afternoon of tea, sometimes a nice dinner at the table and an evening spent at the hearth of the fireplace. When time permits Elix is always excited to have playdates, and he loves to show off the farm's animals, telling his friends of all the names and little details about them. Elix tends to be a little soft-spoken at first, however, and especially around new people. He often lets others do the talking, though he can speak up every now and then wen the topic is something he knows a lot about. He's fond of his parent's friend Deserae, who doesn't often have time to visit, but when she does, she usually brings a gift for him.

Prompt: working as a chef for a busy company, carson finds it difficult to create and maintain relationships. while some fumi may be working standard eight hour shifts, carson can work anywhere between ten and fourteen, making it easy for him to forget to look after himself. as much as he hates to admit it, showering is often a thought swept under the rug and not found again until he finds the time. thus, it is common for flies to be interested in the delightful smell of carson, which is why he can be seen with small companions following him every step on the way to work.
in a way, these little creates have become like friends to carson. they cannot speak with each other, and that is okay with carson. outside of the kitchen his communication skills are almost non-existent, so it is no surprise that the lack of chatter and banter from the flies does not bother this fumi. often the sight of his fly friends lets carson know that it is indeed time for a shower, or to at least get on top of his personal hygiene. therefore, carson argues that his relationship with his insect buddies is one of mutualism, where both he and the flies are benefiting from being around each other. they get a good sniff and a shoulder to rest on, while he uses them as a reminder to take care of himself.

when carson isn't hanging out with his fly friends, or has some spare time in his tight schedule, he likes to go visit one of his close friends alyssa. the two fumi met at culinary school and have been pretty much inseparable ever since. they share many fond memories together such as sneaking into the school kitchens at midnight, blasting their favourite music while dancing around dangerously hot pans, only to make the entire kitchen smell of sweet baked goods. once graduated, alyssa has helped carson's company establish connections between the catering company she works at, supplying them with produce for big corporate events. carson is extremely grateful to have alyssa in his life, and would not trade her for the world.
