So a closed species are adoptables that aren’t open for the public to make their own, only staff can create them. To get a closed species adoptable you can enter for them if they’re available, in this case the horses without halters are available, and fill out the forms/ complete the prompts to have a chance to win them. i think you may also be able to buy myo's (make your own) to create customs/get a custom made for you in other species

not necessarily! most of the adopts are free, and you answer a prompt to try to win them. raffles are completely random. it's not impossible, but it's also not generally intended to be easy because artists tend to like seeing that their designs go to people who put effort into the character.
