While I wait to hear back from a couple of people, I'd like to announce that I have chosen a co-owner: The Royal Mirage!
We have already been brainstorming a ton and I hope that you guys like what we have in store for the species. <3

First thing, the name! These guys are officially named Crested Kirins!

While I am making announcements, due to the conversations Mirage and I have had, we decided to hire a minimal number of artists and no mods/archivists this time around. Why?
There WILL be a formal artist search in the Oekaki board.
The mod job is going to be a little different than people expect, and we want to write out all the details so people can know what they are getting into when they apply. This way, no one is hired for something that they don't want to do!

This being said, even if you weren't hired during this little search, that does NOT mean that you aren't wanted on our team! I strongly encourage everyone who applied(and everyone who maybe didn't apply but will want to) to either make a few entries in the artist search, send in a mod application after they open, or do both! All the applications I got were very, very interesting and I'd love to add more of you to the team.

I was waiting to introduce the two artists from the first application process until after I heard from both of them.
However, I have only heard from one so far and I don't want to keep them waiting!
Orange Juice will be joining us and I'm very excited to see what they create c:

Hopefully our second artist will accept the position so I may announce their name as well.
