Artist Search for Crested Kirins!

The search is on for artists to join the Crested Kirin Team! Please make sure that you are familiar with the species before you enter.

Rules
This is not a make your own competition. It is an artist competition.
The designs here are not real Crested Kirins.
You may not use these lines for anything other than this competition!

Enter as many designs as you like.
Please make at least one Kirin with the twinkle variation and specify if it has it. Most of your entries should not have the variation.

Kirins can be any color and design except mostly neon* and with distinct scenery.
*Bright accents are okay.

Please remember that artists are expected to be active enough to keep the species running smoothly. This post has specific details.

Prizes:
1st Tier
You get a full artist position and may make your own custom.

2nd Tier
You get a 1 month guest artist term with the possibility of being promoted and you may make your own custom.

3rd Tier
You get a free semi-custom.

Everyone who enters will get a brownie point credited to them, which can be saved up to buy Kirin perks(semi-customs, etc).

End Date: TBD; It will be ongoing until we have enough artists. Then the end date will be set.

I'm finished with my entries but I would like to ask some questions for those who become artists concerning the designs they can make.

How will items be handled? Are they something that could possibly be seen in regular adopts or perhaps just on special Kirins, like from events? Would they be something gotten using the Kirin's points? Or would there not be items at all?

Would chimeras be possible?

How about albino or melanistic kirins? Would those be represented as special genes or as mutations or would it just be considered a regular design like any other Kirin?

I think I'm getting way to excited to know the end date of this.
Any who, I seriously cannot stop making more of these, the lines are just so good to make curved and such on the designs.

I actually have a question, for the ones who do not win, do you think there could be a chance to apply again if the species becomes more popular? >-<

Items:
Items will not be added to the official kirin references. If you'd like to give your kirin treasures or heirlooms, they can be added through your own character development (so long as they make sense. for example, kirins don't wear hats... but they can find someone's old scarf in the forest... or collect rocks and shells)

Chimeras:
Kirins are not "born" in a normal sense, so chimeras are not possible.

Albino and Melanistic:
These not attached to special genes. They will be a /rare/ random occurance, most likely found in the Kirins that Kevin created with his gaze.

End Date:
I'll announce the end date after we start filling artist positions (which we haven't started to do yet. we are going to give the search some time before we start).

Another Chance:
Yes. If more artists are needed for any reason, there will be another chance for people to apply!
