Re: Kalon Adopts

Kind of a weird question, but if you have a Kalon, and you wanted to add shine and shading on the hair, would that be allowed, or would that count as a hair edit of some sort?

no that wouldn't count as a hair edit as you are not changing the style or the color, just be sure not to make it too different with the shading and shine ^^

This has been annoying me for the longest time. Would I be able to add the other ear to this kal? In the kit ref it shows that the other ear is poking out. Would I need to get approval for this?

This is a kind of strange question...

Since we're only shown one side of the Kalon,
is it okay to draw them/HC them as having slightly different markings on the other side?

For example, if a kalon has a circle around his eye,
is it assumed there's another circle on the other eye? Or could you maybe draw him with an arrow near that other eye?

unless stated otherwise by the original ref/artist both sides of the kalon are symmetrical (meaning the same), they have the same markings on both sides, as there is such thing as asymmetrical kalons already ^^ (different markings on both sides)

Could you use a color change item on hair, or would only a hair edit item work for changing hair color?

color changing item can only be used on the eyes, nose, shine, hair, or paw-pads! so you may use it on hair, assuming that youre going by the event item

Assuming you mean the event item, the description + requirement can be found here! x

Would tears in the ears on an myo count as an edit, or a scar? Like, a rip or hole in an ear from a fight or something. And that wouldn't pass in breedings, correct?

You're aloud to add tears in the ears as scars ^^. They would not pass in breedings.
