Attention all Warmblood lovers! The Warmblood and Sport Horse Registry is undergoing some significant changes, so if you've wanted to register your Warmblood but haven't or even just want to make a few changes, listen up!

Because the registration for Warmbloods has been a bit iffy, here's what we're going to do:

All Warmbloods and Sport Horses, unless seriously poorly bred, can be registered with the WBSH Registry. However, which breed(s) the horse is registered for depend on the traits of the horse -- but these are no longer specifically defined minimums. Rather, after posting the form, I will notify you of which registries are willing to accept your horse and you may choose from those which breed you want. Certain breeds will have certain priorities -- e.g. hindquarters, neck, action, etc. and certain disciplines that their horses tend to do well in. You aren't bound to any of these, but it's highly recommended! Horses will also be approved based on both merit and contribution, so that a horse with exceptionally high stats in an area the breed is lacking on may be approved for breeding, even if that horse has lower stats elsewhere. Finally, the top/best horses (approved or registered) in the WBSH will be noted with a star next to their name for additional prestige, so if you're looking for the best stallion or mare to breed with for a particular breed, you can find them more easily.

Additionally, if you've ever wanted free tack, don't forget to use your membership! All WBSH members will receive complementary equipment for English and Combined Driving disciplines in navy and gold, so if you ever want to save a few hundred c, just note on the form that you're using WBSH tack instead of buying your own ^^ However, this does only count for splint boots, bonnets, and any other tack that isn't mane braiding (unless your horse is being sponsored for an invitational competition) so just keep that in mind ^^
