If it really was an appaloosa at your stables then you were probably looking at a Snow Flake Appaloosa because Bird Catcher Spots aren't unique to or a finite result from appaloosa genes aka LP gametes.

OMG Maz Those sketches OMG soo awesome you can tell how much you understand about horse anatomy and how much you are felling the DAM's structure it's soo good 8p though im not sure if you know the hooves are cloven in the front.. Looking at the main picture looks like i accidentally covered up their hoof print but ill uncover it while i finish fixing the lines for the new artist ^^
