Bumping this up because I updated the lines!

The old lines were just really bothering me, I thought they were pretty ugly, honestly. So yeah, I just redrew my old lines and made it look nicer. Also, here's a fun fact for you guys: The blank pallio seen here is considered completely average. So when I create a new pallio and say something like "this pallio has a long tail compared to the average", I'm comparing it to this one.

Anyways! If you guys have any more questions about pallio dogs or my other species (Bacintuses, these things, Driddvirs, or anything else you find in my gallery) feel free to ask. I love answering questions because it helps me develop the species more.

I love those lines! Does "these things" live with pallio dogs? If so, are they and Driddvirs enemies to Pallios?

I have a few questions regarding the center and other species. :)

Will the rest be closed species, open species or adoptable species?

Will you ever hold an artist contest or accept guest artists for pallios?

Will you create a nursery for pallios if the center continues to run well?

Will any species in the pallio world be less intelligent and thus kept as familiars/pets/companions for pallois or other more intelligent species in their realm?

Are their magic items in their world? I gave my pallio Socky and talking Sock monkey as a friend with the excuse of it being enchanted. :) Would that be allowed?

By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.

Will the rest be closed species, open species or adoptable species?

A: Hmm, pretty much undecided. I'm leaning towards the "anthro" species to being closed, and the non-anthro species being open/semi-open.

Will you ever hold an artist contest or accept guest artists for pallios?

A: I think about this a lot. I don't really plan on hiring artists/guest artists. Maybe someday though?

Will you create a nursery for pallios if the center continues to run well?

A: Yeah, I would. From what I see though, there's not enough interest in pallios for me to create a nursery. Of course, if enough people do speak out about wanting a nursery, then yeah, I'll make it.

Will any species in the pallio world be less intelligent and thus kept as familiars/pets/companions for pallois or other more intelligent species in their realm?

A: Actually, the bacintus is considered a companion/pet species for pallios. In the pallio world, the intelligent/civilized species would be the three seen here. Species that are considered "wildlife" would be weaselbears, dogsharks, lizardthings, and goatbuns (note that those names are not official). The wildlife species are supposed to just be well, wildlife. They may be anthro in an AU, but in canon they're just creatures. The lizardthings are considered a common mode of transportation though. They're meant to be like the horses of the pallio world.

Are their magic items in their world? I gave my pallio Socky and talking Sock monkey as a friend with the excuse of it being enchanted. :) Would that be allowed?

A: Yeah, there's magic in the pallio world. It'd be possible to enchant an item to be "alive".

I'd totally love to see a nursery happen. I think it would be adorable to see cute lil' baby Pallios, and it would be cool to have breeding opened up. I'm all for the nursery! <3

The new lines are looking really spiffy! I love that face!

I have a question! Would it be okay to try drawing some of the beast species?I'm not thinking of them necessarily as characters but maybe interacting with pallio, like a pallio with a pet bacintus or a lizardthing mount. Or a pallio hunting/battling something?

Also however temporary they are, I love the filler names. :D

"These things" (the goatbuns) are sorta a livestock animal. So uh, pallios, driddvirs and other meat-eating species in the pallio world eat them. They're meant to be that one species that all the other species would commonly prey on.

Glad to see some support! I think I wanna get a lot of things done first before I open up the nursery, but I will definitely be making one in the future.

Glad you like the lines! The old ones were really rushed and just sorta terrible.

And yes, it would be okay to draw the beast species. Actually, the whole reason I created those species, was not to have them be adoptables, but to sorta fill the world lore? If that makes sense? Uhh, think of the sentient species (pallio/driddvir/the other one) as the main species, and the beast species as sorta a supporting role? They exist so people can use them instead of real animals when they roleplay/characterize their character. For example, a pallio who raises goatbuns for a living.

And since I'm talking about the beast species, might as well give a run down on what roles they play:

Goatbuns - Livestock animal/food/prey, just that one animal that's eaten by... well, everything. They multiply fast though.

Weaselbears - Big, dangerous predators. As powerful as a bear, but as agile and fast as a weasel. They often pose a threat to pallios in the wilderness. Considered a top predator. (also I dunno if you've played Fallout, but they're sorta like Deathclaws)

Dogsharks - While it may look like an aquatic predator, it is actually a land based one. They're small, but very fast. They eat mainly fish and are usually found on riversides. Usually not a threat to anyone unless provoked.

Lizardthings - A domesticated creature, commonly used as transportation. Here's a pic of one being used to transport goods.

Poisontails - Similar to the goatbun in that they're commonly eaten, with the exception that this one can defend itself. The poison that drips from their tail can be used to create poisonous weapons and other things.

And I think that's all of them so far. I should note that all these have a specific, set design unlike pallios. Pretty much all of these come in a certain color range and have a certain type of marking pattern. I'll see if I can get a quick guide up soon.
