General Info

Chrysaora Basilisk are the prevalent equine creatures that inhabit the world Lucent. They roam by the hundreds, using their unique hooves to score the uneven rock and track down their most vital source of nourishment; evil. The relationship between Chrysaora and humans is a complex one. Chrysaora vocalize like horses, but are also thought to have a syrinx much like birds do and have been recorded displaying a variety of sharp, avian sounds. Their eyes layer over with a dark, murky black until their normal eye color pierces through in a great ball of electric light, radiating toward their victim's open eyes and paralyzing them. The Glare is able to stop both human and creature, and after a few days, unique to other forms of basilisk, the paralyzed being transforms into a sea nettle.

They are born completely white but are able to stand right after hatching. Either one or both of the parents watch over the newborns until they're yearlings (a time that only takes one week in earth time) and grow a duller version of their future adult patterns. It takes up to two to four weeks later until they finally grow to adult size and are become fully colored and patterned.

What is a Long-tailed Fennex?
A Fennex is a rare subspecies of marsupial with long legs, ears and fluffy tails that are used to blanket themselves, normally found in warm but not hot climates inhabitting large, open plains. They come in varied natural colours, normally with some form of stripes on their bodies for camoflauge, and otherwise simple coat patterns.

Fennekhines are a hybrid between Fennec Foxes and Canines/Wolves.
They are never found without their Arrow Charms. These Arrows signify
hope for a future, and that even though life may pull you back, as tension
grows, you're simply getting ready to slingshot to a better future.

Fennekhines have a diet mainly consisting of meats and such they find
while hunting. Their main habitat is a forest, but some like beaches.
The diet and habitat may very by the individual, though.

While, for the most part, Fennekhines are very introverted, they can
be tamed, and socialized. They tend to live in forest caves by their
lonesome, but if they find someone to love them, they will love in
return. They will be loyal to their companion, until the end.
Will today be the day a Fennekhine chooses you?

Personality
Mothtail is a hard and determined worker, letting nothing stand in his way. He always wants to impress others, especially those he likes a lot, and will often be driven to do risky things. He is not a bragger though, and would rather direct a conversation elsewhere instead of talking about his achievements. Though the two traits of determination to impress and humbleness may seem like opposites, in Mothtail, they sit alongside each other, ready to come out if the time comes. Of course, Mothtail is loyal to DawnClan, however has times where he wonders if he should simply leave. Afterall, being scorned and mocked does no one good. He is also a believer in StarClan, although his faith wavers from time to time. Because of the lack of interference from StarClan, Mothtail thinks that the "cats up there" simply have no control over DawnClan. In some ways this is good, he thinks, because they all get to make their own choices. Other times, he feels that the lack of control can lead to interclan wars. Mothtail is curious to learn more about his world, the history of DawnClan, and anything he can get his paws on. His inquisitiveness can become annoying, as he often pesters elders and older warriors with "Why are things like this?" or "How did it get to be like that?" Finally, Mothtail has a good heart, and is willing to do whatever it takes to make sure that his Clanmates are safe...even at the cost of his own life.
History
Mothtail was born half kitty pet, half DawnClan. Even though his mother was Clanborn and didn't tell the Clan who sired her son, the truth got out anyways, and he was scorned and mocked by his fellow Clanmates. In return, he set out to be the best of the Clan, not letting anything get in his way.

Once an apprentice, he worked twice as hard, even volunteering for elders' duty in order to impress the leader and his mentor. Due to his skill, Mothtail's heritage was soon dismissed as irrelevant, and he was scorned no more.

Anyway, I am glad you like how he is looking so far. I was confused by the mane reference picture, did you want his mane up in the air? If so, i can change it.
Also, with the mane and tail color being different. Grey horses can have different color manes and tails. In the reference picture, he had a darker mane and lighter tail. If you would like it changed, tell me! I am totally fine with changing it!

What is a Great Plains Equine?:
The GPE are a special breed of horse. They are large and sturdy breed, suited best for working a farm and pulling carts. They also were once used as war horses during the war between the Mountain and Forest kingdoms. GPE stand at 13-17 hands, though are most commonly ranging at around 15-16 hands. Their coats are sleek and soft, the colors and patterns are too varied to even list, though they are most commonly found with a 'paint' style coat. Their manes and tails are long and flowing, their hooves heavily feathers and nearly fully concealed. GPE's have long beards under their chins, both male and female, and have a pair of horns that sweep backwards along their necks. Their eyes range in any color of the full spectrum, and produce a glow that resembles smoke, or possibly flames. They are docile beasts, but are not easily tamed.

I'm pretty depressed right now, so post/link a funny picture or gif of an animal.

WHAT IS A POLLUX PUDDING DRAGON?
A Pudding poly is a dragon-like creature that has a small resemblance to a cross between an African pygmy hedgehog,a pangolin, and a dinosaur. They have a long neck and an armor-like shell on their backs that come in a variety of sizes and colors. They're omnivores and have their own preference for foods as some prefer plants over meat and vice-versa. Pudding polies also enjoy the occasional sweet or dessert, they seem to really enjoy the taste of pudding. All poly dragons have at least one element that determines what physical traits and powers they have.

You might be thinking that Thoroughbreds don’t come in these colours; however, there are two bloodlines that carry these markings and colours. Here’s where the breeding bit comes in. I’m considering this horse to be a foal of Elusive Quest {Image} and the mare Lilac Hill. He inherited his mother’s roan coat, and his father’s markings. For more information on TB genetic colours, I used these two pages as a reference for this custom. Pinto and Roan.

Again, the semi-sort of custom bit comes in here. Because I’m considering this to be a ‘breeding’ of sorts, there are a few things I don’t mind about. One is the look of the frame overo. However, I would like it to be larger markings, rather than smaller. For inspiration, I have included some of my favourite frame overo markings below.

Elusive Spell. As with any of the Elusive Quest foals, I love the length and shape of the overo.

Elusive Quest I am in love with his shoulder marking, how the overo looks like it’s being pulled apart.

Elusive SpellAgain, the lovely colt of Elusive Quest. I adore his face marking, and I’d love for my custom to have something of this sort on his face.

Overo I love the jagged look of these markings, as opposed to the chunky, often smoother frame marks often seen.

For more inspiration, try looking up Elusive Quest foals. They are simply drop dead gorgeous, and their markings all look unique yet similar.

Preferred Artist: Someone confidant with roan, paint markings, and braids/roses.

His mane and tail are beautiful, and I love the way his frame overo markings came out! Gahh, I am in love. I've just compiled his information below so I can grab it easily (please let me know if I've messed up on the genetics c:).

Fennekhines are a hybrid between Fennec Foxes and Canines/Wolves.
They are never found without their Arrow Charms. These Arrows signify
hope for a future, and that even though life may pull you back, as tension
grows, you're simply getting ready to slingshot to a better future.

Fennekhines have a diet mainly consisting of meats and such they find
while hunting. Their main habitat is a forest, but some like beaches.
The diet and habitat may very by the individual, though.

While, for the most part, Fennekhines are very introverted, they can
be tamed, and socialized. They tend to live in forest caves by their
lonesome, but if they find someone to love them, they will love in
return. They will be loyal to their companion, until the end.
Will today be the day a Fennekhine chooses you?
