lux is a bit stronger, but a bit kinder, than most enerrox
he was abandoned at birth because he was deaf
because he was deaf, his left ear was a little smaller than his good ear
it was very noticeable as a child, but not as noticeable as a full-grown enerrox
and since his left ear is deaf, his hearing is amplified in his right ear
so, he had to fend for himself when he was young
whether it be hunting, a place to sleep, etc.
lux also knows he's different because of the way he looks
as he's seen most enerrox have neon colors while he resembles a fire
he doesn't care that much but it intrigues him and makes him curious
more and more everyday to find out where he came from

(Told in first person) Story:I sprawled out in the moonlight, letting the light filter through my crystals, recharging my energy. Soon I began to glow with my own soft light, and I got up with a faint clanking sound. As I did so, I noticed an odd object in front of me. I sniffed at it curiously, then gave it a poke with my paw. It rolled a bit, making a jingly sound. It didn't seem to be alive, and no body else was around, so I picked it up and brought it to a cave. I ran deep into the tunnels, and after many twist and turns I reached a room with a small gap in the roof. The moon shown softly into this room, and it made the room seem to glow. I climbed up a rocky staircase in the wall, and dropped the ball amongst my collection of other odd toys. I couldn't wait to show my friends this new toy! They would absolutely love it! Being just as curious as me, they all like things that are new and different. I decided to call them over right now. I picked up a crystal of the floor, then dropped it into a chute in the wall. As the crystal slid down the chute, it made a weird noise, something kind of like music and a howl mixed together. This was how we call each other. The chute is short, actually just depositing the crystal back to the floor of my room, but the noise and vibrations carry through hollows in the wall, which are concealed within the rock and reach to every other room and cavern in the whole cave system. Luckily, all my friends have rooms within this cave system, like a neighborhood. Soon I heard.... To Be Continued (maybe)

How did he cope once his parents died?

After Griffin's parents died, Griffin barely managed to live. He had to find a job FAST, take care of his little sister. He did manage to find a part time job at a clothing shop at the mall, and he was actaully doing quite fine taking care of his little sister. One day, Griffin got fired from his job because he got caught up with helping a kitten that got stuck in a tree. So he and his sister had to sleep under a bridge for one night. The next day, a kind couple found them under the bridge feeding on trash scraps. The two caring people brought Griffin and his sister to the orphanage and that's where they stayed together for 6 months. Though 6 months later, Griffin had enough. In another month both he and his sister had to leave the orphanage do to too many orphans. Though they had a choice: either one of them leave, or both of them leave. Griffin didn't want Arabella to suffer anymore so he decided not to tell her about the news, and 6 months later, Griffin left the orphanage on his own by himself. He sacrificed his own chance for warmth and care at the orphanage to make sure his beloved sister would stay safe and warm. Griffin managed to live by himself for a few years, until he was adopted in by a caring lady and a kind man. And all that time, Griffin wasn't sure what happened to Arabella, so he could only hope that she is still safe.

Did his mood change towards Arabella when their parents died?

Yes, Griffin's mood did change towards Arabella when their parents died. Griffin had always been mean and cold to Arabella, in the teasing way of course. But after their parents died, Griffin opened up a bit more to young Arabella and was more protective over his little sister. Even though Griffin always teases Arabella, he's actually very caring to her as well.

What did he do when he left his little sister, when he was a older teen?

Griffin tried to live by himself after he left Arabella and the orphanage. He attempted to get a decent job but ended up being a pet sitter for MONTHS. Luckily, he got a job at a bakery one day and started working there. he decided that until he finds a nice, loving, and suitable home, he would work and earn money at the bakery. Later on, one day, 9 months later, he found a nice couple that were willing to take in Griffin. Griffin wasn't kind at the moment. He was stubborn, means, dark, and cold. Not exactly a commonly loved boy. But his step parents loved him no matter what attitude he had.

What will his reaction be once he sees her again after 7 odd years?

Griffin will hopefully, open up, and get "brighter". He would get more cheerful after he sees Arabella again, as he dearly misses his younger sister. Maybe he wouldn't be so unwilling to say anything about his past. Maybe he would be more social and willing to hang out rather than laying in bed with the lights shut, curtains closed, and door locked. After 7 years when he sees Arabella again, I can guarantee that Griffin will at least be more willing and lively, so he can spend time with his sister (which he also wishes to do at least one more time). Honestly, I don't think anyone can make this JMD happier other than his sister.
