about the species-
Shovel-claw burrowers (scbs) are large creatures resembling ant eaters. Sometimes you will see them rest on their knuckles due to their claws being too long to use their paws, but while walking and foraging they prefer to walk on their hind feet so their claws are easier to use; when a scb stands up its hind feet are not quite the same as an ant eater, they are more like that of a standing lizard, a bird or a dinosaur. This allows them to bend forward and claw the ground. When a scb feels threatened he/she will stand straight up ready for attack. They know they are much larger than you and can be quite dangerous. Most scbs range from the size of an adult pig to the size of a small horse. A shovelclaw is an omnivore. They will eat practically anything with their long tongue strawed tongue, but usually they prefer nectar and insects. They use their long claws for defense and for searching food. Also sometimes for a good scratch for a friend's itch. Most shovel-claw burrowers are migratory. They eat a lot of food so they stay wherever food is plentiful. But if food supplies run well they will herd off to find more. For now, larger scbs are the only ones known to exist. But some say they've seen creatures resembling them the size of a mouse. Who knows, maybe we'll discover them someday.

Whisp is a shy (species name). Once he opens up he is funny and sweet, his enemies beware though. For Whisp has powers that no one knows about, except for ..... them...... Them; The Heinously evil makers. THEM knows of his power and will later on try an exploit it. Whisp is cool and collected so he doesn't get mad if people are mean to him, but if someone harms his friend in anyway, than they are as good as dead. Whenever Whisp accesses his power, his eyes turn pure black, and it wipes the memories of anyone around him including himself, so when he comes out of his power coma, he can't make sense of what he is seeing. However one girl can keep her memory of his powers and soon they become friends, she doesn't tell him until she is about to die, him, learning this, learns how to access his powers without wiping memories.

Whisp is dangerous and unpredictable at times, whenever he accesses his power, he is like a different creature. He loses the ability to thought speak to other animals, whenever he uses his power.

How did he get his scars?: One day when jack was 2 he was in his hutch like normal when his old owners dog got out and started to go after Jacks cage breaking the wire it had and then the dog went for another part of the cage so Jack made a run for it cutting himself on the wires not even noticing at first then once all of his energy was gone the dog came running and bit jack before he got to cover in a sewer pipe and that's where Jack was also found and how he got his scars

short story: (This is going a little bit off the canon of the creatures but I thought it would be unique for this design ;v;)

When magma came to earth he was still very young and loved the planet, he often played with all humans who stubbled across his cave. Back then his fur was pure white, as was his star friend, her name is Holly. Well that's what he thinks, the star has no real personality but he's been very lonely since all the humans he played with were hunters and thought he was an albino species of bear, because of his red eyes and snow white fur. One day he was traveling the planet, and was unknowingly being hunted. One day during his travel he landed on the base of a volcano, curious to what it was. As he began to walk up the volcano a shot rung out, starling the poor creature and he slipped over the edge of the volcanos rim falling in. Holly rushed after him, engulfing him in a white light. Slowly the markings you see on him now began to form and the small amount of power the star held worked on getting her companion to safety. After all of this, years later, the red spots on his body and holly herself are warmer than the rest and almost seem to flow like lava.

Short Story: "As if the day had resented me, and the sun had called me out as its sole enemy, I awoke several hours past the normal time to the oddly soothing sound of rain pelting the world around me like meteors. I sighed, peering out a small sliver in between the curtains. Standing shakily, I glided through the room and down the long corridor. I felt a lazy sense of adventure in my heart, wanting nothing more than to steer off course, even if it was just for a mere second. But instead I continued on to my study, knowing that there was work to be done. I graced over the whirlwind of papers about the room, shaking me head ashamedly. It always seemed this cluttered and unkempt, despite my attempts to tidy it up each morning. Organized chaos I called it. It made sense I suppose, in a way. With a plop and sat into my chair, spreading the rumbled papers before me out in a line. I grabbed a pen and began making various marks and sketches, trying to make sense of my own handwriting. I growled under my breath at my own frustration. It had been several long years since I began studying astrology, and each day I grew more and more tired of my mundane life. One of these days I swore I would leave. Drop everything and go, without telling a soul. But, I still had this certain admiration for my position of power. I believe that is what kept me here. I smiled as I thought of all my groveling servants, the crew that would lay down their life for mine. It was enough to keep me happy, I suppose. As if right on cue, my breakfast arrived. A small and weak looking servant girl pushed in a cart almost as big as here, sweat lining her forehead. I smirked and nodded as she laid out my tray, pouring the tea and stirring in sugar and honey as she did every morning. I barely even lifted a paw as I ate. I wasn't particularly lazy, I just truly admired the servitude of such a strong-willed being as the little girl was. With a nod I sent her on her way, earning a very plastered smile and sarcastic curtsy. I stretched back in my chair, feeling my claws drag into the tight leather as I stared up at the ceiling. Red and gold adorned the room, and the mahogany and oak beams dressed the entire estate in a glorious burgundy red. It was just to my liking, every inch. And yet, as I returned to my studies, I felt that rebellious devil on my shoulder, his voice but a whisper in my ear. One of these days, I assured myself. One of these days.."

- Do not alter designs after you adopt them.
- Respect the creator, owner, mods, and artists of the species.

- Only Official Artists can perform breedings/design babies.
- Parents can belong to the same person or they can be from different people.
If the parents of the breeding belong to different people, please give proof
that the other person agrees to the breeding.
- Only male x female pairings may breed - male x male and female x female
breedings are not possible, biologically speaking.
- Voxxie designs should not be duplicated.
- One to two babies is the norm for one breeding per Voxxie pair, but a third baby
is possible, although very rare.
- Voxxies MUST both be adults to breed.
- Voxxies can mate at any time of the year.
- Pairings must have been mated for at least two weeks before being able to breed.
Their mating must have been stated on the main thread of these adoptables to be
counted as valid.
- One Voxxie pair can breed once every three months.
- One Voxxie pair can breed up to seven times. After that point, they cannot breed again.
- Baby Voxxies take at least three months to mature to adulthood, though six months is
generally the time frame needed for a child to mature fully.
- PPS Voxxies are EXTREMELY rare. Their ratio is 1/100.
- PPS Voxxies can NEVER breed or age past childhood.
