![]() ![]() Name: All The King's Men // Cicero Gender: Stallion Halter Color: a mixture of reds, blues, and oranges Personality: Cicero is a bit of a goofball. He's the one that all the camp kids want to paint on during the summer, and that makes funny faces when begging for treats. Short, even for a tolter, he doesn't come off as a very intimidating figure at all. Even the most timid of people can find comfort in his short, pleasant stature and loving life attitude. Even though he's a joy to be around and watch, he can be a bit of a handful. For example, you can't leave anything on the door of his stall unless you plan on looking through the shavings later to find it, because no doubt he will drag it off the side. On cross ties he has a tendency to be a bit antsy and will pace forwards and backwards, making it hard to clean his hooves or get him tacked up. He also loves to roll, in the biggest patch of mud he can possibly find in the pasture. Almost every time one catches him for a ride, they've got a good fifteen minutes or so of just curry combing to get through the tangles and mats of mud on his pretty, eye catching coat. He's super friendly to horses and people though, which is shown by his willingness to play, groom, and nuzzle others. If you're not careful, he will probably shove his nose into your hair and mess it all up. He's a great camp horse because he's relatively not spooky and is small enough to preform cool tricks- like standing with all four feet inside a hula hoop, walking over tarps, having an innate knowledge of how to bow, and standing on platforms. He doesn't tend to get ridden a whole lot though, mostly because he can be a bit hyper. He's a real sweetheart, but he's young and always wanting to just go. He has preformed in some ridden shows, all of the western discipline. He has never been a good jumper because of his size and his tendency to rush at jumps, and he's certainly not a good dressage horse because he can't seem to make his legs work in that way. Plus, it's speed he's after, not precision. ![]() |

I am truly a bit clumsy, tending to stumble over my too-long legs and ram into things (though it’s accidental, I swear!). I’m not the most popular stud, but I’m completely fine with that. I’d rather graze in my corner, content with a few friends that I can keep an interesting conversation going with. I am a bit of a nerd, and I also love to learn and figure things out. I’m always on the lookout for new knowledge, and if anyone needs to know something, I’m the one they come to. And then there’s my eyes. My full name’s Sonder. It’s a word for when you suddenly realize that each passerby has a life as unique and complex as yours- say, you’re walking down the street, alone. Somebody passes you, and just for a brief moment, you realize that they’re not just another face- they have a life just as crazy as yours, with memories, family, emotions. It’s all over pretty fast, and there’s a good chance you’ll never see that person again, but it can leave someone speechless. Here’s the thing- it doesn’t just happen briefly for me. Every. Single. Day. No matter how hard I try, if I make eye contact with anyone, I am immediately thrown into their memories. It’s not just a realization; more like I’m there. Instead of being like an undetectable spirit, I see through the horse’s eyes, but I can’t do anything. I can just sit and watch as my eyes serve a body that’s not mine, that I can’t control. I’m stuck in the memory until it ends- which is the host’s choice. It can last hours, or days, or weeks, but the moment it ends, I’m thrown back into the normal world, and the other horse has no idea about the encounter. We just simply made eye contact, and while outside it only lasted a millisecond, I was stuck in the past, my life wasting away. I had to find a way to stop it. I couldn’t just stab my eyes out on something sharp; but I couldn’t keep losing days of my precious life simply because I looked at someone else. That’s why, as I stand here speaking to you, I have a cloth wrapped around my eyes. It’s red and very soft, a bit worn, a scarf that ties under my chin. I can’t see more than vague shapes through it, blurry-edged shadows; and that’s fine with me. I’ve never experienced forced memories with anything other than horses, but then again, it can’t hurt to be safe. The horses around me have accepted it easily, and I’m still Sonder, the same awkwardly tall and (well, I like to think I am) gentlemanly stallion. username; valor. name; sonder // son gender; stallion halter; a custom (I suppose), I can pay for it in points. 544 words |

He is not always reliant on anyone because he is completely capable of doing things on his own. Beau can be nervous when he is in an unknown place or situation so he needs his buddy, Converse in thoes situations to keep him calm. He relies on Converse to see for him and guide him. He follows his buddy by smell, putting his nose on the other horse's rump, or following alongside his buddy. Beau also needs to have a strict daily routine otherwise he can become confused and anxious. Lack of routine can also cause Beau to be fearful of what is around him because he doesn't know what is happening. How He Became Blind:: Beau got cancer early on in his life, that unfortunately spread to his eyes. Though when he was cured he could still see shadowy shapes, many things spooked him and his blindness would always get worse. So his owners decided it would be better to surgically blind him completely to prevent his distress. |

[#106] PSA UFA - Custom Lines!
based on this drawing by Meweep
![]() Oh my, would you look at this poor baby! This Pocket Snake is fully-grown, and mutated, at that... As an egg, this PSA was experimented on, thus giving it its third eye. The third eye closes sideways, unlike a normal eye, and this one has strange spikes protruding from its back! It always seems to wear a mask, since it seems to despise its third eye... I wonder why that is? A custom-lined Pocket Snake for y'all! ovo (Yes. I KNOW it's the day after Halloween. Sue me.) This poor little fella has gone through a lot already, so I'm hoping that they'll find a loving home. <3 The contest is a simple impress-me, with a few limits. eue For starters, you may only have up to fifteen (15) art pieces, and the whole form must not exceed 3,000 words. eDe Other than that, go nuts! End date currently undecided. GO GO GO |

His love Cannot be bred! Username: Vinson Name: Subtle Music Fills Our Ears//Harrison Halter Color: a nice faded green, which was once the same green as his bow tie, but its been sun faded and weathered, with a bit of wear and tear In his perspective, tell me the story of the green bowtie: 531 words When she showed him the bracelet their humans had made out of the rose, he had been overjoyed, happy that his gift would last forever. They spent their days lounging in the pastures, watching visitors go by, and training for dressage, which they absolutely loved, especially when they were together. The sensation he got when her pelt brushed lightly against his - he loved it. He loved her scent, her beauty, her warmth, her compassion and kindness - Charlene was beautiful, and he felt like the luckiest stallion in the world with her by his side, promising to stay for eternity, always loving him. In turn, he promised the same thing - he would stay with her for as long as they lived, and even after they were no longer in this world. He would love her forever, and their love would stay strong, no matter what was thrown in their way. They would clear the obstacles together, no matter how tough they were - their love was stronger than anything. They were currently standing in the pasture, watching a train of shiny black cars roll up the drive, long, fancy, clearly expensive. They had no idea why these people came, but they did, and there was always a steady flow of them, in and out, every night. The pair approached the fence, watching as the doors to the shiny black cars - which, by the way, were now coated in a nice layer of dust - opened and people in expensive looking clothes stepped out daintily. Most of them went straight to the main building, but a few of the braver ones came over to the fence and decided to pet the horses. Harrison and Charlene enjoyed their hesitant, gentle strokes, and Harrison closed his eyes and relaxed as a younger boy rubbed the whorl on his head - Harrison's little spot. You pet him there, he would fall like putty in your hands. Until he heard the rip of fabric, and suddenly Charlene had turned quickly and stepped a few little steps out in the pasture. The man who had been petting her let out a cry of frustration as he looked at his ripped clothing and missing bow tie. He glanced to Charlene, shook his fist at her, and walked away, beckoning the boy to come with him. Harrison looked at Charlene with confusion showing in his eyes, and Charlene let out a muffled nicker, thrusting her head right next to his, slipping something around his neck, onto his shoulders. Charlene let out a proud little sound, glad she had given Harrison a gift back. The green bow tie looked perfect on his graying pelt, and he came close to her, nickered a quiet thank you, and nuzzled into her neck. Surprisingly it fit his shoulders, and he loved the way it stood out on his body, like Charlene's blue rose, and then he realized - she hadn't just given him a gift back, she had confirmed his love for her. By giving her the rose he had asked a question, by giving him the bow tie she had answered. And her answer? "I will love you forever, my dear, no matter what happens." In his perspective, tell me a story from when they first met as foals: 427 words It had been a lazy few days after he was born, spending all of his time pressed up against his dam, questioning everything thrown at him with vigor. He enjoyed his time in his dam's stall, but the one thing that bugged him was that he couldn't see out of it. He could hear everything, listen to every single conversation going on around him, but his eyes yearned to see what happened out of the stall when he couldn't see it. He knew there was a new foal, but he hadn't seen it, or smelt it. He hadn't seen it in the pastures, or when he was coming back from pasture. All he knew was that there was a foal in the stall across from him, and that was it. He decided to be brave one day and try to talk to it when he heard it gave a squeal at its dam. 'Hello there,' he said, a bit loudly as he wanted it to hear him clearly. There was an odd pause of silence before he got his answer. 'Hello, I'm Charlene. Who might you be?' It asked, and suddenly he knew that the it was a she - her nickers so feminine and lady-like, even her name. He liked her name. He whispered it, rolling the sounds off his tongue, pressing his teeth together, experimenting with the word. He loved the way it sounded when he said it. 'Fair day to you, Charlene. They call me Harrison.' Their lives went on like this for another week or two, talking to each other, their conversations quiet, enjoyable. They never tired of the other's voice, and they often caught themselves pushing away a desire to actually see what their new friend looked like. Little did they know, the owner had been listening to them converse and decided that they should be taken to pasture together to meet each other. Harrison let out a yawn as mother's halter was put on, the lead rope clipped onto it, and the stall door opened with a creak. He took a step forwards, but paused suddenly as the door across from him was opened and out bounded a beautiful young filly stepped out, her green eyes so perfect, her body so petite and delicate looking, and he knew that her name, Charlene, definitely fit her. She was the most beautiful filly he had ever seen, and a smile tugged at his lips as he heard her voice once more, but now he had a face to match the dainty sounds to. One Extra: Our love is strong, It holds us together, binding and eternal. And so we celebrate together, Hooves do a graceful dance, Upon the tiled floor. In dying lights we dance, Subtle music fills our ears, Picking out the instruments That push us to dance to them. Destined to be dulled, We don't accept our fate. We dance in these fading lights, And our eyes come back to life. We may have changed, But our love is still the same. It holds us together, binding and eternal. In dying lights we dance, Subtle music fills our ears. Even after all these years, We continue to stay strong. These lights have died many times over, Replaced with newer, stronger ones. But we will never be replaced, We are far too strong. And so, In dying lights we dance, The subtle music fills our ears Until all the lights go out at once, The music stops. But still we continue our dance, Because our love is stronger. |

Her love Cannot be bred! Username: Vinson Name: In Dying Lights We Dance//Charlene Halter Color: a nice faded blue, which was once the same color as her rose, but has been sun bleached and weathered, with a bit of wear and tear. In her perspective, tell me the story of the blue rose: 564 words They nibbled quietly at each other's withers, their warmth mingling as a cool breeze blew by. Her blue eyes glanced up suddenly at the shiny black vehicle rolling up the gravel road, spewing dust behind it as it swung up into the driveway. They both looked up and stopped their grooming session as they watched the car stop suddenly, and the doors were thrown open to reveal a very overdressed couple. The man stepped out, and Charlene watched as he held a hand out to the lady, who took his fingers daintily to help pull herself out of the fancy, now dust covered, car. Her dress flowed elegantly behind her, the wine red and silky material looking wonderful on her as she held the man's hand, and they both smiled. Charlene turned to Harrison, nudging him gently, rubbing up against him as a cold breeze flew through her pelt and chilled her. Her blue eyes and his green watched as the man took a flower out of his breast pocket, handing it to the lady, who smiled and accepted the gift. She had seen those flowers before, but only in street stalls and when watching the television the owner had placed in the barn. People sold those flowers in the stalls, and Charlene liked to watch how people threw them to performers once they finished performing and either bowed or curtsied. Did humans give their loved ones these special flowers? It was an interesting thought, really - maybe it was part of a mating ritual. It was oddly pleasant to watch the two humans walk to the main barn to find the owner, their fingers interwoven, their stride the same, steps matching. She and Harrison liked doing that at practice, just to annoy the trainer. Sweat slicked their bodies, their breathing was heavy, and their legs felt like led by the time they had fished their dressage practice for the day. Today's had been particularly challenging, as they were supposed to do the same thing, but many paces away. It had taken them a while just to figure this concept out, and they had both felt rather stupid as they finally realized what was going on. From there on out it was work, work, work, but it was enjoyable, Charlene supposed, to have that feeling of happiness and satisfaction at learning something new and important. They were untacked in the arena, halters put back on, and then they were free to go back to pasture to cool down. As the two matched their stride out of the arena, Harrison suddenly stopped, turned, and grabbed something between his lips from underneath the bleacher seats, swinging back to Charlene with a slight smile on his lips as he gave a small nicker and thrust his head towards her. Her eyes were met with an exquisite blue rose, shining and lovely, the thorns plucked off the stem. She gave a thankful nicker back and nuzzled into Harrison as her heart may or not have skipped a beat, and a few seconds later her lips were on the stem. For the next two days it would be carried around with her everywhere, until finally it was taken, preserved, and put on a bracelet by the owner. She wears it still, smelling the sweet fragrance after the many years of being with Harrison, and she can't help but feel special. In her perspective, tell me about their first bad argument: I honestly have no idea, but I'll think of something soon One Extra: Our love is strong, It holds us together, binding and eternal. |

Name: In Dying Lights We Dance//Charlene Halter Color: a nice faded blue, which was once the same color as her rose, but has been sun bleached and weathered, with a bit of wear and tear. And so we celebrate together, Hooves do a graceful dance, Upon the tiled floor. In dying lights we dance, Subtle music fills our ears, Picking out the instruments That push us to dance to them. And so, In dying lights we dance, The subtle music fills our ears Until all the lights go out at once, The music stops. But still we continue our dance, Because our love is stronger. |

One day they're best friends, the next they could hate each other. Although Markus might play simple pranks on Sayaka (scaring her, fake vomit, and other gags) he loves her and would protect her with his life. Something Of Note About Them: Markus has a thing with Sayaka's neck fluff, he loves to touch it until it annoys her. |
