Adoption rules

1. No negativity. Saying "Oh, so-and-so entered, I'll never win now!" and the likes will get you disqualified.
2. You may only adopt one WOS per two months.
3. No colored in as art. I want you to draw the WOS you want yourself. Or order some art of it at least.
4. No bribery. This will ban you from owning any more WOS and if you currently own any, they'll be given up for adoption.
5. Put at least some effort into your form. Don't just give me two sentences of history for personality. At least one paragraph.
6. Please don't whine if you don't get the WOS you want.
7. Follow the rules!

The pups grow up on their own if there are any pups to start out with, usually we just have full grown wolves, but sometimes there are pps puppies, so keep a look out

Humans have finally done what they have threatened to do for millennia: They have wiped out their own species, as well as many others. The earth is an eerie, silent place, birdless and covered with gleaming, glowing fungus, the only plant that can survive the heavy, toxic clouds covering the earth.

Most large animal species have died out. However, one has survived.

Deep underground in a cavernous series of caves, a small group of escaped horses (from coal mines of the distant past, as well as a lucky few descended from those which escaped from riding centers and farms) have managed to cling to life. They have shrunken over time, their legs have grown sturdy and their bodies suited for weaving through caves and over rocks. They have stayed alive by eating whatever grows in the caves, with the result that they are now blind, and see the world through strange, glowing antennae. They have also grown horns, the shape of which may vary, but which usually point downwards. After centuries underground, they are beginning to emerge once again into the outside world.

* Equidius have natural coat colours! These may be coats from other animals, but bright colours do not occur. The only colourful thing about them is the glow on their antennae, and their eyes.

*Their mane and tail length can vary, but they are usually rather short and scruffy to keep them from getting tangled in the caves.

*Horns can vary in shape, but usually do not point upwards, as this would be inconvenient in confined spaces.

*If an Equidius loses one or more of their antennae, their 'vision' becomes impaired.

*On rare occasions, antennae grow in places other than the head and rump.



There will be several ways to adopt these horses. From most common to least:

Breedings

Sometimes, horses will breed to produce one, or rarely, two, foals. These will be put up for adoption, and they will have parents which have to be stuck to. Sometimes the breeders will place guidelines for what they want for their foal.

Not very often, I will allow people to design their own Equidius, and I will choose one or two of the best from those competitions.

Yeeaahh.. Decided to make my own species. Anyone can think of a name for it tell me.


These, what I call zephs right now, are aliens. They always have smoke from their eyes that help them see and sense danger. Their ears are super accurate but very sensitive to loud noises. Their tail 'fur' is made of a type of thin wiry substance that looks and feel like wiry fur, but infact picks up signals and directs them to other zephs, like you calling someone else on the phone. They use their mouse-like tails to show their emotions, curled when annoyed/angry, or up when scared. They have odd pupils, and three eyelids, they all close normally, but when they close all three they go into a limbo, where they usually go when they are dying to drink from the river of light, their source of life. If they have unaccomplished events that need to happen the river gives them life, if they had been kind and spent their life with purpose the river kills them, and then gives them the chance to be reborn. If that Zeph has been unkind the river kills them, no questions about it. They usually wear their hair in ponytails, no matter what gender. Males have longer hair then females, yet females have longer tail tip hair.

And by evolution, I mean adaptation.

I welcome you to the island of the Sai-ten, the scientifically morphed creatures!
They survive forever, unless felled by illness. They can feed themselves by finding the local pomegranites and strawberries.
They can run fast enough to outrun any local predators, and are tall enough enough to reach heights for leaves and fruit.

How Sai-ten Were Created

As one would know, these Sai-ten are not naturally acame by. When scientists Elya Floydd and Jakob Raphenstraud were mixing St. Bernard-Labrador mixes with clydesdale-shire mixes, something went wrong. Instead of picking up with horse DNA strands, Dr. Floydd got the vile of Black Rhinoceros Deoxyribonucleic Acid! Of course, the procession went on, and hence was born the Sai-ten. Though, the next morning when Floydd and Raphenstraud got back, the lab was wrecked. The Sai-ten pair has completely annialated the labratory. Their horns had crushed the strongest iron cages they had, they were tall enough to have broken the door frame, and even the Sai-ten had skin tough enough to not be dissolved by a mix of chloride and dilute hydrochloric acid.
For years, the two were searching. Searching. And searching.
But, something came up. A man came upon an island, a very lonely, desolate island.
As Elya and Jakob became awareof this, they sent their proposition in to the government. Shunning them, the president gave them the go-ahead. And what they found there was astonishing.
Tens of hundreds of Sai-ten lived in the temperate-forest region of this island! And what they found was amazing.
They had every colour scheme, every ability to boot!

Colours and Schemes and Whatnot

Yes, yes, I'm Jakob. And I'm here to tell you a little about these creatures.
Not carnivorous, the Sai-ten [as we know it] eat pomegranites from the trees, and raspberries from bushes.
These creatures can't die from anything but illness; predators can't keep up, predators cannot penetrate the skin, they are tall enough to get food ...
The general amount of them are a dark grey, like black rhinos, and range to a light brown, or to a creamy yellow.
Both of the last colours genetically inclined from the Labradors and St. Bernards used to create this creature.
Sai-ten would not do very well in a common house-hold. Yes, they are loyal, passionate, and loveable, but keep in mind that they are as big as an elephant, indestructable, and can destroy anything.
But, if potty-trained and trained very well, they can be a trustworthy companion.
Like labradors, they give you their undying loyalty, dying for you and everyone else instantly. Attaining quick speeds, Sai-ten are great for fowl and grouse retrieval went hunting.
Like St. Bernards, they are handy and very dependable. Stable on their feet, with six toes, they can save you from whatever scrabble you were in. They can swim, also helping with the drowning.
Like Rhinoceros-es, Sai-ten are huge, sturdy creatures with a great temper [if not controlled]. They are practically indestructible, cannot be eaten or taken down, and are herbivorous.

~ If you no longer find it necissary to keep your Sai-ten, please, give it back to us. If you give it up willingly, it will not be slaughtered ~
~ If you choose to disobey one of the rules, your Sai-ten will be taken away and adopted out. If it fails to be adopted in the next 48 hours, it shall be slain! ~
~ If you order a pricey custom, you must have a reference ~
~ I can add when I see fit, especially if provoked ~
~ I don't bark hard, but my bite is ferocious ~
~ I guess you can have as many as you'd like, just don't go hogging them all to yourself ~

Limitations

Adoptions may occur every three hours or so, if we have some up.
If we start doing litters, then I recommend you only taking up to 2 for every litter.
Customs are every 24 hours
If you wish to breed, I will make breeding available in the future.

Contest
I will hold a contest that will last a week or slightly longer. The person with the best ____ wins the Sai-ten!
What I mean by ____ is that I may give the winner a Sai-ten because the had the best backstory, or the best personality, or the best form over all! I will post on the Sai-ten's page what the contest will be for.
Auction
Auctions will be held over a Sai-ten. It will start out with a certain common, and you can bid. It won't be much, not like Very Rares [Unless you'd like to c;], but merely the most uncommons of the bunch, or the most amount of common wishlist pets.
