How to use Lock Alpha:
Lock Alpha allows you to color images without going outside of the lines! It's very simple to use. Find the "Layers" window. In it, there shouls be two check boxes. Click on the one that says "Lock Alpha", and presto! Now you wont color outside of the lines. (:
