Kinda a response to Doreet's comic...realistic worst-case scenario I think. A lot of pollutants are as temporary as humanity; even plastics, famous for not being biodegradable, will rot in the span of only centuries, a blip even in the history of mankind let alone all life. And honestly, life as a whole has been through far worse.

HI I HOPE YOU'RE RIGHT. Some scientists think some types of life will remain. Yes, you are right about "the Earth has been thru worse than this."The dinosaurs did vanish true. Lots of extinquished types of life. BUT I don't think any of those life forms were very intelligent that they REALIZED their extinction might really happen.---Unfortunately we can see all the great life forms, and animals other than man, getting killed off already.--SO its not so easy to sit here and watch it happen.
