Atlas has always been the protector of
his clan, the first to investigate strangers
within the territory and the last to return
to the roost at night. Atlas cares deeply
about not only the adult members of his
clan, but has quite the soft spot for
hatchlings. Although he may seem
unapproachable at first, once you get to
know him, you will find Atlas to be the
older brother you never knew you wanted.

Atlas was born within a clutch of only two
eggs, the other of which did not survive the
freezing winter nights of the mountains. The
clan mourned the lost egg, however, the birth
of a new Yahool was something that they
celebrated day in and out. His adolescence
was nothing special, however, the loss of
his sibling, even as an egg, led him to become
so overly protective of the entirety of the clan.
Now, mothers need not worry about the health
of their eggs, Atlas is always near by to provide
anything that mother or egg may need.
