ＷＥＬＣＯＭＥ ＴＯ ＧＥＮＥＳＩＳ ＲＯＣＫ！

Welcome to the Genesis Rock (Specifically the Boundless Rock,
located right in the center of the main Boundless Forest)! You've
entered the Boundless Plane through a Rift deep within the
confines of the Boundless Plane, there are many of these Genesis
rocks interspersed throughout the world. This is one where you
can get your first deer (provided you already don't have one) as a
one-time gift from the deities and spirits of the forest! All you have
to do is think hard about what deer you want your Wisp (life energy)
to manifest into, and a diety will hear your call to give you a corporeal
form! However, mind reading only extends so far, so often times the
deities don't get your looks exactly right, but they try to get as close
as they can. Try it out!

Here, you can obtain your first deer provided you already haven't
won your first one from adopts/readoptions or obtained one as a gift
or custom. These deer function like semi-customs, and are limited in
regards to traits and possible looks.

If you already own a deer or already have a working herd registered,
you are locked from obtaining a Genesis deer.

Once you have your first deer, we encourage you to Register a herd for
a chance at obtaining more deer!

Since Sprigs are a realistic-type species with realistic (rabbit) coat patterns, all you need to do is provide a picture of a rabbit/rabbit base color phenotype to base the deer off of! A phenotype is a written description of a rabbit color, like lilac or brown tortoiseshell/brindle. It's recommended to keep it short and to the point!

It's also recommended that the coat pattern description/image is non-broken (i.e. has no white spotting on the coat; natural lighter undersides aren't included in this rule) because only the base color will be added to your deer by default (white spotting functions differently in Sprig deer!).

The only colors not allowed to be on Genesis deer are fully/near fully white deer, blue-eyed albinos, or red-eyed albinos. Some noticable amount of color must be present!

If you wish for your deer to have piebald markings/white spotting, you must state so in your form and request for white spotting to be rolled for. Your deer has a 50/50 chance of rolling for white spotting of any type. The three types of piebald spotting are Laced/Broken, Midway, and Irish/Domestic. The piebald spotting has a chance of being minimal/half (≤ 50%) or more heavy (≥ 50%).

These deer in particular default to male (since regular adopts are most often female due to ratio) but you're welcome to request a female (within the 'Other' section), but it's not recommended if you wish to breed within your herd later on! Outside of the Genesis Rock, the ratio of male to female sexed deer skews dramatically with more female adopts than male. Female deer from the Genesis Rock, however, have a small chance of obtaining small horns due to the blessing bestowed on the rock by a particularly benevolent female deity.

What can you expect on a stag from the Genesis Rock? Genesis stags can either have Small or Standard antlers, no tail or a short tail, or have a regular pupil or no pupil at all. Genesis does are much the same, but in the place of antlers, they have a VERY small chance of obtaining small horns; otherwise, does are hornless.

Please keep in mind that the only thing guaranteed with genesis deer is the base color you provide! Everything else is either rolled for and/or left up to the artist's discretion or genetic limitations (in terms of blue eyes or heterochromia). This includes details like eye or antler color, and even the extend of piebald spotting.

All finished with the information? Simply fill out a form! As of right now,
only full artists can create Genesis deer, and they will open slots
in order to create them. Artists will generally post to notify when they
have open slots.

I went by this using the genetics page I hope I didn’t go over the top >v>…

As there are limitations on genesis deer (they are only semi-customs) I'd ask that you please stick to the guidelines and not ask for anything extra ^v^ / (pretty much everything except the base color is rolled for to keep it random) I'll take care of any genotypes, and all you need to provide is a picture or written description of the base color! You're welcome to either edit or repost your form so long as slots don't fill beforehand.
