Deaf in his left ear. Though Blizzardear's hearing may not be as sharp as other cats', that does not prevent him from doing his job as a medicine cat. In fact, he's one of the best and well-trained medicine cats to exist.
He's quite unique as well; although he knows his Clanmates accept him, Blizzardear often thinks about not being welcomed because he's deaf in his left ear. It's not like he doesn't know he can't hear very well, but his doubt has caused him to be a little bit less cheerful than the other cats in Alderclan. Because he can get pretty upset, he's picky about taking an apprentice as he feels as if the said apprentice may get in his way while trying to make him content again.
