Pretty much this exactly! I think I already posted in here about why I dislike Taylor's music, but I don't think I added in country. I grew up with country music and used to love it, but that was before I knew songs existed in different genres.

Also, I deeply hate Christmas music, the classics have never sounded good to me and only a very small select few modern songs sound decent.

I wouldn’t say I outright HATE any genre. I think every genre has something to it. There are some I’ve heard I’m not a big fan of though.

I’m not a big fan of ska. I can appreciate it for its history and importance in music but it’s just not a sound that’s for me. It is quite catchy though

heavy metal and thrash metal also isn’t for me. Starts to sound a little same-y to me after a while and I dont like the vocals of most bands. I do like slayer though. A lot of classic rock is the same for me too.

slam/grindcore/mince I dont get. I mean I I get why people like it but I just don’t like repetitive guitar noise. I do like brutal death metal though
