Any tips on what to do?
I've never done an interview before so this will be my first interview and I really want to go for it. I really really want the course.
One tip I can give is to sound cheerful. Make yourself sound calm and cheerful even if you're completely nervous inside. Try to think of some possible questions that they'll ask as well, and prepare some answers. Chances are, you won't really use those answers much, but it'll help in calming you down a lot more than you think it will.
Common questions which I've faced when going for past interviews are (these are questions I got when I went for scholarship interviews, so they might be a tad different from the ones you'll face. I added in some which I think they'll ask though):
- Why are you interested in this course?/What about this course got you interested in it?
- Why should we (the school) let you have a spot in this course?
- What can you offer to us (the school) if you were accepted into the course?
- What are your weaknesses?
- Your strengths?
- Why do you want to be in this course?
- Your plans if you're accepted into this course?
As mentioned above, these questions may or may jot come up in the interview, since my only interview experience is not with course acceptance, so don't count on them too much xp Hope it helps though!
