[Shadow]

So, this is my first time ever using the Oekaki, and I'm not sure whether I like the way the coloring came out. Naturally, the lineart was by Vampy (*points at signature*), who obviously has so much more artistic talent than me.

Anyhow, this is a coloring of one of my rats, Tyde. I wasn't sure what color her eyes were, so I just made them brown. The shading refused to come out correctly on the eye (I must have spent trying to get it right before giving up XD).

I'd really appreciate crits on the coloring, as I'm not too good with it yet.

NOTE as of Aug 2011: I'm locking this since it's ages old and people can't seem to let it rest in peace.

I think the coloring looks really good! The areas you chose to highlight look perfect to me.

If you want to get a closer look at CS pets go to their page and press CTRL +. It zooms you computer screen in. CTRL - reverses the zoom.

The overall feel of the image is just the same as the pet, so I'm not going to nitpick it (that would not be very constructive...) However the eyes are white and there is a white blaze on it's head and ears.

Also, I think I might have moved the pupil of the eye a bit more to the left, but I think it looks fine the way it is.
