Minion Training - 1st Edition
Welcome, i am Butcher's Glory, Shade's (~*Oddly Shaded*~) Docksen. Now i am recruiting artists, or well, Shade and I are. But we don't want just any old artist. We need the perfect Docksen artist. Someone with the docksen talent, both in capturing and taming (or in normal term creating and adopting out). Now, we really don't want someone who is an unnatural artist. We need a natural artist. Someone who can abide by the docksen colouration. If you look at me i am all natural, with the natural docksen spots. But we do have other colours too. I will explain that later down in the thread though. So, can i recruit you? Are you good enough to win the spot? Anyway, remember to keep reading and read the rules! It is incredibly important!
By the way, you may be wondering why my coat is brighter here than on the normal topic, i was out flying and got a little sun burnt...
Rules
1. Go and check out the Docksen Species
2. Read the introduction
3. Read the rules (Obviously)
4. Do not use any of the previous Docksen Designs (Aquatic OR Skyeloric)
5. Only 1 user will become an artist, if i need more later down the track, second and third will be first in line.
6. Read the Colouration co-ordinates below
7. You may make minor edits (such as facial expression, shading, leg positioning, or antlers. But nothing else)
8. If you do not abide by the rules and your docksen does not abide by the colouration/rules then you will be told to either re-do your artwork or delete it. If i have an issue with it i will pm the user, if pm is unavalible i will post. If your topic is locked it is because you haven't listened to any of the rules/colouration co-ordinates and you have not responeded to either PM or post. I will give you 24 hours to abide.
9. Remember the markings and use them wisely.
10. I know there are alot of rules, but they are easy to follow, so enjoy the competition, don't whinge or complain if you lost or didn't become an artist.
11. I will not all anyone in the competition to keep their Docksen as a docksen. As it will create a large variety of docksens inwhich were not created by an offical artist. And so they will either be used as actual docksens (with credit toward the designer) or deleted. Just to keep the species undercontrol.
12. If you have an issue with the prizes, please do not message me or enter as they are what they are.
13. You may enter a maximum or 5 times if you are that desprate.
Colouration Co-ordinates
Skyeloric Docksens are mostly whites and greys. Very Rarely will they be buckskin, bay or chestnut brown. Blue eyes are incredibly rare amoung this species as well as paint spots. Another common colour in the breed is Palimino or creme. Their stomachs are noticably lighter than their coat colour and have a marking up over there face which is known as the 'Bird Beak' marking. This is common for Skyeloric Docksen, and it is rare the bird beak is darker than the coat. White or light spots are mostly common. Brown or bay on light coloured Docksens are rare. New color patterns are avalible; Brindle and Fleabitten. Rare colour patterns.
-Whites, greys, palamino and creme are colours you should be looking at for your creation
-Buckskin, bay, chestnut and brown are colour you will use if you are sure you know what you are doing.
-Eye colours should be Brown, with blue occasionly (so don't everyone use blue eyes)
-Look up the 'Bird Beak' marking in the offical topic, Butcher's Glory has a bird beak.
-Bird beak's should be lighter than the coat and occasionly darker.
-Spots please! Keep them closer to the rump and commonly lighter, rarely darker.
-Brindle is not allowed for the competition.
-Fleabitten can occur if your confident in what you are doing.
Information About The Skyeloric Docksen
*Note - We have got Aquatic Docksens, but they will not be used in this competition*
Habitat- Skyeloric Docksen
Skyeloric Docksens perfer open spaces. If you have an open yard or a paddock they can rome then they'll be your best friend.
Behaviour- Skyeloric Docksen
Skyeloric Docksens are very graceful animals and tend to perfer a very respectful owner. If they are mistreated they will attack those who are the mistreaters. Once they have made a friendship, it will last forever.
Features- Skyeloric Docksen
Skyeloric Docksens have large brass wings. These wings are darker colours to the body with white tiped feathers. Rarely the wings will be lighter and very rarely will they have no white tips. Small strips of white can be identified on some of this breed. Rarely on white wings will there be brown or bay.
Gender Info- Skyeloric Docksen
Females - Female Docksens are very partite. They perfer to be in shaded areas and are larger than males. They average (in horse height) 16hh which is 1.6m tall. They need alot of respect in order to be able to perform to their best.
Males - Male Docksens are much more brut. They will catch food for the females and are best in open grass. You will often see this species sprawled out in the green grass and often scratching on the grass. They are a maximum of 16hh which is 1.6 tall, but are often 15hh - 15.3hh (1.5m - 1.59m) Excuse me if i am incorrect
