Baby dragons grow very fast,
making the need to find food for them harder as they get bigger,
when they're about two feet long,
their mother pushes them from the nest,
and begins teaching them how to fly.
The two you see above is this a mother's and her very first hatching,
this female is is still young and this being her first season,
she's being a little overprotective of her young,
and has overfed him a little,
making him larger then the other baby dragons in his colony.
But never mind that,
he's flying like a champ and soon he'll start living with the males!
