This is a redline for gingerish.
To be perfectly honest, I was almost certain that your wolf was a fox to begin with. P:l
The wars are much too large, and should be placed a little more forward. Defining the jaw line can help to make your wolf's face more pronounced, as well. Like how this wolf-- http://browse.deviantart.com/?q=wolf&or ... 44#/dq87ll -- has a line of fur defining the ears from the face.
It's good that you're defining the brow, but maybe it should be defined just a little bit more.
Their snouts are blocky, but not TOO blocky. The mouth should also not go so far back that your wolf's mouth looks like it is able to completely split into two hemisphere's like a fish.
The neck needs to come forward a LOT, but in the back and front, and be much thicker. Their heads don't overhang like a horse, they need some sufficient muscle and fur there. Keep in mind that wolves are FLUFFY. Their necks are literally like a mane.
Just look at this guy: http://lupinicious.deviantart.com/art/E ... ious&qo=94
And, lastly, the eye needs to have a more wolfish shape, be smaller, and closer to the snout.
Use plenty of references, and practice all of the time and you'll improve in no time! : D
I hope this helps! x)
