I will make her a character, most likely a beloved anthro. (:
Her story:
Stormy was born during the most ravenous, devastating fire her forest has ever seen.
Her mother tried to take her to safety by grabbing her in the neck, but Stormy was covered by a mountain of liquid amber as the fire consumed her home forest. Her mother left her, trying to save her other pups.
When the fire burned everything down, the amber covering Stormy hardened. Amazingly, Stormy stuck her nose out just enough so she could get oxygen to survive the grueling five hour fire. Her lungs were seared and she could barely stay awake, but soon enough she had just enough strength to drag herself over to a nearby stream.
At twilight, a group of wild wolves found her, and brought her to safety a forest over, where the forest had not been impacted by fire. There her family was, eager for her return.
After a few months, Stormy's seemingly dull chesnut coat started glowing with amber-coloured glow, speckled all over her body, conjuring swirls and fantastical designs.
Her mother evantually named her Amber for her coat and the firey, courageous personality of hers, but the amber that saved her life was what did it.
She was then named Storm (later Stormy) after a harsh storm barreled through her beloved forest once again. She was the only survivor.
Other:
Due to the fire, Stormy cannot participate in any heavy work or do any long term running or hunting, and because of the storm she cannot handle loud noises, but she does take many steady strolls in the forests nearby, and has the role of healer, midwife, and babysitter.
