You must be asking 'Mirage, what in the world is a Woxxy?' Well, I'll tell you what a Woxxy is.

I'm sure you know of the popularity of foxes and wolves? Well, Professor Timothy Ryan Morton decided that he would cross the two to create the most popular species ever. He succeeded.

What came from the professor's experimentation is the Woxxy.

Appearance:
Woxxies are much like wolves considering height, usually being 2 feet tall at the shoulders (females a bit shorter than males), with fox-like faces and tails. Males are generally more stocky and muscular, while females have lithe, more curved figures. One very easy way to distinguish males from females is the fur - male Woxxies tend to have shorter, more coarse fur with a bit of a mane along their back and under their belly, whereas females have longer, silky fur. Oddly enough, males are hypoallergenic, where females are not. Weird! Another distinguishing feature is that males have slightly taller ears, where females ears are wides and more rounded.

Habitat:
Now, Prof. Morton knew Woxxies would not take kindly to being kept indoors or in cages, so he lets them run free in the land around his vast estate. The Woxxy packs usually keep to the woods and plains, but can sometimes be spotted in the more craggy, mountainous areas of their territory. Mountain Woxxies, Forest Woxxies and Plains Woxxies differ very slightly from each other, so keep a sharp eye out for them

Diet:
Forest Woxxies tend to eat mainly small prey, such as squirrels and voles, and sometimes take birds eggs or birds. Plains Woxxies hunt only in parties of 4 or so, for they need numbers on their side to take down the deer that inhabit the Professor's Plains, but sometimes hunt rabbits on their own. Mountain Woxxies have adapted extremely well to the tough climate and like to hunt mountain goats! Wow!

Behavior:
Woxxies have a very interesting behavior - being both territorial and partially docile. They are very loving towards each other, packs functioning like communities with a leader and those who do jobs that assist the whole pack. Often a hunting party will bring back food which is then given to females who have newborn young or to elders who cannot hunt for themselves. If a Woxxy is injured, another Woxxy is assigned to assist them until they recover. Females choose males they want for their mate, whether it is based on looks, strength, personality, or even just on a whim, so males must try their best to catch the attention of that special someone. But caution must be exercised even amongst pack members - males can get very territorial when it comes to their mates or potential mates, and will become sad if their female chooses to leave them.

- Don't get mad or throw yourself a pity party if you don't get a Woxxy
- Fill out the forms if you want to adopt, don't just say 'I want dis 1 plz'
- No chatspeak please. Really, it's irritating
- Don't fight with each other or with me (and possibly any mods that may or may not come around if I need any)
- Don't ask for one for free - it'll decrease your chances.
- Love them, because they love you

1 Woxxy breeding - 4 wishlist pets, two from each owner.
1 Woxxy offspring - 1 wishlist pet, the owners of the parents get first choice of which they want from the litter
